We stopped at Pop’s Diner for lunch. The ribs were meaty, the butter beans were scrumptious and the hot dogs were perfectly grilled. The staff was friendly and the site is clean, bright and low key. An unexpected treat!

I’m planning to move to Rocky Mount and this is the first jewel I’ve found among eats that I like. The location is a very short walk from the Amtrak station, less that 1/4 mile, and it is right on the comer, clean, and the food was tasty and seasoned well… for my taste. Diner was a little messy and needed some cosmetic things fixed, like seating and ceilings and walls repainted. Food was mediocre. Too similar to what you can make at home, in bulk. Sandwiches were small (on buns like you buy at big chain stores) and portions not really worth the price paid. The staff were friendly though. Not by any means my favorite place to eat. Probably won’t eat there again, but that’s me. I don’t leave reviews to hurt any business, just stating how I felt about what I experienced. You be your own judge, it may just be your cup of tea!

Wandered in here for lunch. I was greeted immediately when I walked in and ordered a burger at the counter. The food was hot, fresh, and came out quickly. My burger had great flavor and I was in and out in less than 30 minutes. Great, clean place to stop in for a quick meal. I’ll be back!

Oh my goodness….the food here was amazing. I normally DO NOT lick my fingers, but honey, I licked every finger that had sauce on them… LOL. The service was simply great. I felt comfortable and enjoyed the hospitality. The restaurant and bathrooms were clean. My suggestions are the wings, spaghetti, cheese burger, and pizza!!!! Those Horne brothers are something else in that kitchen!!!! 10 out of 10.
