These cookies *Deserve* a review.

We heard great things about the baked goods at Pop’s and bought of couple of boxes for Valentine’s Day…and oh my lord…they were some of the best cookies we’ve had, truly! Our favorites were the classic chocolate chip and double chocolate chip — followed very closely by the strawberry Nutella. Fair warning: each cookie is a meal in and of itself, and warrants its own tall glass of milk If we lived any closer, Pop’s Corner would be a dangerous place indeed. It’s already our go-to whenever we are in a 15-mile radius. We even had a box shipped to DC! Can’t recommend them enough. These cookie are, in a word, heaven.

Now that the summer is over, took the long overdue first visit to Pop’s and if a fiirst bite of a warm cinnamon bun shared while waiting for breakfast elicits a “When Harry Met Sally” level reaction, know you’re in for an experience!! The restaurant is clean and comfortable. The staff are so attentive without being pushy. The food was absolutely incredible. The presentation of the brisket skillet and the biscuits with sausage gravy was wonderful. Every bite was flavorful and perfectly cooked. Since they have the bakery on-site, cinnamon rolls came home with us along with at least half of our breakfast selections! I’ve found a favorite spot!!!!

A cozy coffeehouse / restaurant about 10 mins from the Jenkinson boardwalk in Point Pleasant. Everything was reasonably priced and the food was great. Thank you Kaylee for taking care of our table!

Update – went back to Pop’s Corner for lunch. The Cobb salad and buffalo chicken wraps were absolutely delicious. Our waitresses were super nice. Highly recommend you to grab a bite at Pop Corner before you leave Point Pleasant!

Stopped in here for breakfast on a Sunday morning. We’re seated right away. We were in and out within 40 minutes. Which was great. The breakfast was fine, not bad but nothing special either. The bakery seems like the star here. I grabbed some stuff to go, can’t wait to try that later tonight!

Our waitress was lovely, but it was clear that the staff were having trouble with being organized. We had someone take our drink order which we didn’t receive until about 10 minutes after we ordered it. I ordered the classic eggs Benedict, assuming that it would be hard to mess up. The hollandaise sauce was mayonnaise. It was mayonnaise with a bit of lemon juice and an extra egg yolk for color. It was frankly repulsive and I barely stomached half (I scraped the hollandaise off as much as I could). The home fries were quite bland but they weren’t terrible, easily the best part of my meal. Otherwise, everything was decent diner food, generic, bland, and a bit salty, but palatable.

We tried the pancakes, breakfast burrito, breakfast sandwich, cheese curds, ricotta toast, and the monte cristo.
The potatoes were great! The monte cristo however, was very ham-heavy, and felt overall unbalanced. The pancakes and breakfast sandwich are good and exactly as expected. The toast was similarly good. The Breakfast burrito, though, was incredible.
The cheese curds were also very very good— 6/5 stars we could not get enough.
The vibes are a little hipster-millennial, but also very comfortable and clean. Our server was very polite and attentive, however there was a bit of a wait to receive our food. This could be due to the fact it was a Sunday morning.
Definitely try the lavender honey latte. The coffee is also wonderful.
Overall, this is definitely a spot to try. Right next to the train station so very convenient (yet busy, so try to find parking in advance!).
We will be coming back to Pop’s!

Service and Food is absolutely phenomenal. The best breakfast I’ve had thus far in South Jersey. The waitress is wonderful and helpful. The atmosphere is calming and inviting. A must visit. I will be back

Were recently ate here twice on a recent visit to Point Pleasant.
We came for breakfast and was not disappointed at all. The staff was nice and friendly and the coffee was good and BIG. The place is VERY clean and it was probably the cleanest bathroom I have ever seen in a restaurant. I would definitely return. We also bought some items from the bakery and while they were very fresh and tasty, they were a bit too sweet for us.

Me and my family came on Father’s Day. I completely understand that the wait to be seated took 25 minutes. However, when we sat and down and ordered, it took 30-36 minutes for the food to come to us and by this time the breakfast rush was slowing down. And IT WAS COLD. The avocado toast was so unappealing looking to have taken so long. The steak and eggs were so under seasoned it tasted like literally nothing. The salt and pepper tried to save it. Sadly the potatoes were the best part. The setting of the cafe is cute, and I expected some really great food. So disappointed and would not go again unless I was forced to.

I’m not one to normally post a negative review, but I went to start my anniversary with my husband here for breakfast and was upset that $50 was honestly just wasted. I wouldn’t recommend this place when there are so many other local shops that are worth it…

The wait staff wasn’t rude, but they don’t check in to see if a drink is empty. When you order your “specialty” crafted latte, it’s nothing special. It honestly is just a watered down latte. Not worth your $7. After a long wait, when our food did come out the plates were hot, yet our food was cold. Not a good sign. I’d like fresh food, not food sitting on a hot plate under a warmer…

I ordered a simple biscuit and gravy, which was not only cold but very dry. Where was the sausage gravy? They really skipped on this one and not only didn’t put any sausage gravy on the top biscuit part, but barely any on the bottom. The eggs were again, not only cold, but over cooked too.

My husband ordered the Farmhouse Hash Bowl. Sadly, this too was cold and when you have cold brisket, it’s a huge turn off.

I’m sad that this one didn’t work out as I’m a local and really wanted it to! Especially since when you walk in and see the bakery section looking so great! Overall, I sadly wouldn’t return.
It’s just not worth the wait or the money.
