This place is a little gem down in the Bayou at Bayou Lacombe, La It’s a very nice family business. The owners are very nice, the atmosphere & vibe is very quaint . They have multiple tv’s not he walls to watch sports- on weekends they have wing specials & others for football games. The quality of the food is superb – the food comes out hot & fresh to order. My first visit I had the roast beef poboy with “debris gravy” my husband had the shrimp on bun with fries – I also had the corn nuggets that were AWESOME SAUCE . The shrimp are fried in corn meal – you know the old school way. It’s a very friendly environment. I’ve posted my pics , my video review of all our food choices as well as the NEXT DAY we returned for MORE !

I had a wonderful soft shell crab with crawfish sauce, mac n cheese and green beans. Hubs had the buffalo wings that he really liked! Both items were on special. Super nice owners too.

Amazing family and people! The whole menu is absolutely delicious, everything! They are a bit pricey but the amount of food you get is worth it. They have a .75cent wing day, the burgers and the desserts are all flavored! Sweets sweets and treats. Great people and great atmosphere. First Responders discounts too. If youre in Lacombe you need to get here for some home style cooked meals that will fill your belly, this is the spot.

Ordered the red beans w/ the hot sausage. Beans were creamy & the dish was full of flavor. Also tried the grilled shrimp which was amazing. Very friendly staff and I would highly recommend you stop by and try a dish.

Wonderful staff, very friendly atmosphere and a great addition to Lacombe! The chargrilled oysters were on point,and the fried shrimp po-boy was delicious! We celebrated my birthday by having lunch here and even treated myself to a cupcake!!! Highly recommend!!! #supportfamilybusinesses #supportlocalbusinesses

This is my second visit.I ordered two things . The gumbo I had before and it was good but this time, one piece of sausage in the gumbo and baby shrimp, I was disappointed in the taste. Chicken with Mac& cheese was good. The grease from the chicken made the French bread soggy. Couldn’t eat it. My first visit I order the smothered chicken it was good but the gravy went into my salad and on my French bread could not eat was soggy . Very disappointed. No more visit for me.

Service was great.. the food not so much. Red beans and rice was soupy. My husband had the cheeseburger and it was shredded cheddar jack, which was weird and the burgers seasoning was odd. The French fries were very good… kinda sad overall

I went today for the second time! The food was very good, i had the softshell crab with seafood cream sauce and my man had the sloppy joe that he loved!! We also had CANDY GRAPES! A MUST TRY! the bread pudding and all baked goods are fresh and made in house, triste place is a must try!
