Drive thru was packed and a very long wait which is good for me I’m expecting fresh hot food. All our order of fries were cold the hot dogs were also cold. The fries were not in the frie paper holder they were all on the bottom of the brown bag like they just threw it in upside down so now we are eating out of the brown bag. We love pops but not this location had issues the last three visits. This was the last visit never going there again.

The food here is delicious! The menu is huge. If you’re wanting something a little lighter you can opt for a yummy chicken chop salad. We ended up getting the Italian beef and the Ruben. Both are excellent. The Ruben is the best Ruben I have ever eaten in my entire life hands-down you must get! We also had a vanilla shake and the large sizes are ginormous . The food servings are very generous, everything is very shareable. They even have an area where you can grab a beer if you’d like. The restaurant has a large sitting area and there is a covered back patio. Service is excellent and the restaurant very clean. A great place to stop!

Used to be the best. But the beef and fry is up to 8.99. OK, I get a cost increase. But then a smaller portion, and the beef is like shoe leather and dry. Also, my wife said the last chili cheese dog she got was rubbery. Cutting g quality for cost will always cost you customers…..and has. Sad

POP’s in Dyer Indiana (they have several Illinois locations as well) was a decent beef. The meat was a little bit dry, but having it dipped always helps. Homemade, spicy giardiniera which I wish had been a little spicier, but I appreciate anybody who makes the effort to make it in house. I would definitely order it again, but I will tell you that there are so many good options in Chicago that it would fall more midway on my list.

Overpriced for quality and quantity overcooked gyro tastes like a flavored dog’s rubber chew toy. $20 for a half assed bacon cheeseburger with cheese fries and grease slick milk shake. Any basic gyro place is better than Pop’s and Portillos put together

I would like to express my dissatisfaction regarding our recent food order. We placed the order at 5:00 PM and patiently waited for 25 minutes in the store “AFTER” we were informed online our order was ready. However, it is now 6:10 PM, and during this time, the manager displayed an unacceptable level of rudeness. To add to our disappointment, we had already paid for the order online. My wife decided to cancel the order after observing all the employees engaging in casual conversations instead of attending to their duties. It is disheartening to be made to feel like an inconvenience. Consequently, we have made the decision to take our business elsewhere, to establishments such as Buona’s or Pepinos, where we hope to receive better service and appreciation. FYI we ordered 2 sandwiches app and fries ! The photo is of the food we never received.

My husband is a truck driver. He sent me these pictures of a sausage with Italian beef and peppers , he also ordered chili cheese fries . I said wow looks good . It’s a lot of food for $15 dollars. He Called me back when he was done eating . He said the sausage was dry , the meat was dry and the chili cheese fries was not good at all . I told him that’s too bad it looked good . He will never go back again !!
