This place is grace on the eyes and very clean. The service was polite but the one serving me left me sitting after, asking what I wanted to drink, for 39 minutes. The ribs lacked seasoning and were half tender, dry & cold. Barbecue should be smoky & warm to the belly… This gets a “try again” of 3/5… flavor? Also 3/5

Melissa was my waitress and such a fantastic sales lady. She convinced me not only to get the buffet but also to try the ribs.
Omg!!!! The cook, the wait staff, the owner, and even the pigs that lost their life deserve credit here!
With the slightest twist, each bone fell right off the meat and smoked to perfection
The buffet also has such a great selection, but if you like catfish, this place is it 100%!
EXIT 22 ON I-65 IS MY NEW PLACE TO PARK WHEN PASSING THROUGH TENNESSEE.

Food was not that great, the meat was a little juicy, but there wasn’t much flavor. I had to ask for barbecue sauce? It’s a barbecue place, and nothing came with BBQ sauce already on it, and they don’t even have bottles at the table. The mashed potatoes were tasteless and the meal was kind of plain overall. Probably wouldn’t go back

This will be our new place to park when we roll through. We both had the lunch buffet and our wonderful waitress Melissa was on point. Very attentive and service with a smile. I had a bowl of their chili which was super good not too spicy yet had the right amount of heat. The lunch was 16.99 per person so it didnt kill the pocket book the dessert was yummy as well. The atmosphere was nice not off the hook as there wasnt too many people in the restaurant at the time we ate. I felt like I could have use a wheelbarrow to get back to the truck. Also the bathrooms are very clean. I recommend this gem to anyone passing through. And thank you Melissa for being good to us while we were there. We will be back. Mmmm mmm

Pop’s BBQ is tucked away in the Tennessean truck stop and is a hidden gem. The brisket platter was massive with a generous serving of smoked beef. I had hashbrowns and onion rings as my sides, both of which were delicious.
The server was super friendly and helpful in making our choices.

Nestled in a serious truck stop. You can get Pop’s barbecue in the restaurant or at the counter. Service at the grab-and-go counter was fantastic. Brisket sandwiches are made on the spot instead of sitting on display. Thick slices of brisket, with the sauce of your choice, and the coleslaw in the sandwich or in the side. Grab napkins. It’s messy but good.

I was traveling through on business and went to the BBQ counter to ask about the buffet. It was about 4:10 10/17/25. She told me “I wouldn’t eat there” I asked why and she said “That’s white people food, it don’t taste good” so I went and got buffet because I’m white and it tastes fine. I’d give a good rating for the food but I don’t tolerate racism it goes both ways.
