PLEASE TAKE THIS AS CONSTRUCTIVE & NOT COMPLAINING.
Had a double cheeseburger and fries with sweet tea. Meat had been cooked for a while and was cold. Also tasted like meat was from a frozen patty. Also the tea was made with unfiltered water. If the meat had been fresh cooked so it was hot and the tea made with filtered water, I would have had altogether a different opinion.

Had an amazing experience here! It was our first time stopping in and we felt so welcomed!
The food was amazing (fried okra was my favorite) with homemade desserts! We got so full on the yummy food that we had to take the desserts home. Lol
I couldn’t suggest this place enough.!

If you are ever driving through the area you must stop at this adorable BBQ spot. It was an absolute treat dining here.
I believe the people working there were the owners and they were so nice, we immediately felt like family. We both ordered the pulled pork sandwich with spicy slaw! Oh my goodness! This was the best pulled pork sandwich I’ve ever had. The meat was so good and I have never had spicy slaw before but it was great! I also got a small side of the beans and potato salad, they were both very good. The BBQ sauce and vinegar based sauce on the table paired perfect with the sandwiches as well.
The inside had a homey feel of a good old fashioned family restaurant. I highly recommend stopping by and enjoying the company, food, and comfortable atmosphere.

We eat here more often than I’d like to admit. I always have the regular ham sandwich and my husband orders the Large smoked chicken sandwich. It’s always delicious, we’ve never had any issues with our food or our order. The employees are super friendly and we love supporting local businesses

This was my first time visiting this restaurant. I went in and waited my turn to order. The older lady working the counter was incredibly rude. As I was ordering , she kept yelling.. what? Huh? What kind of slaw do you want?!?? All in a disrespectful… you are hindering my day sort of tone. I wasn’t ugly or rude. I just smiled. Then when my food order was ready, she walks it over…frowning…and says as she rolls her eyes, “All your sides are in the bag!” Where else would I expect them to be? The food was the only positive. It was really good. Too bad the worker wasn’t as positive as the food.

Just passing through and stopped, glad we did, wife had 1/2 chicken plate I had the ribs, both were perfectly cooked and seasoned, potato salad and slaw best we ever had. If you see it stop, it’s worth it, probably the best BBQ we ever had

Best pulled pork sandwich in the Florence Alabama area! If you like fried okra, it is worth the drive just for it. It comes out piping hot, lightly battered, and perfectly cooked every time. They have regular, mustard, and a hot slaw for the sandwiches (I like the hot so much I skip BBQ sauce). I can not brag enough on the food I have had so far. I have been several times now and the quality has been super consistent every time. I will try new things soon and update this review.

I sure love their Barbecue! And, the potato salad is special. The BBQ beans taste like they came out of the can and could be better if cooked longer, but they are OK. They are conveniently located for people that live on the north side of Florence. Otherwise, I love the place even though the food is not cheap.
