As soon as you step in, you notice all the different types of bagels Poppyseeds Bagels offers. I tried the french toast bagel with butter. It was served crispy warm with schmeared butter. Very delicious. Along with bagels for breakfast, they serve eggs with bagels or eggs with ham, sausage, and bacon. The restaurant was very clean and the staff greets you as soon as you enter.

One of our favorite breakfast spots! We make a point to bring out-of-town guests here. My favorite is the everything bagel with cream cheese, toasted with a slice of tomato. The staff has always been friendly and helpful. There is both indoor and outdoor seating. They can also handle large catering orders.

Went to Poppyseeds bagels today. Was always good in the past. Today they added+charged for lettuce and tomatoes I didn’t ask for,forgot to toast one sandwich,was ignored when asked daughters sandwich to be wrapped young man first,then girl sweeping gave me strange look and a man said leave it their and I’ll get to it. Icing on cake after spending $41.50 on lunch for 2 adults and 1 child I asked for a glass of water. Got attitude again and they tried to charge me 33 cents for water. I asked politely if he was crazy. BTW IT WAS NOT VERY BUSY LIKE THE OLD DAYS.

Order two items and both were messed up. Lox and cream cheese, only had three very small pieces of salmon. Sandwich with cheese, to bad it had cream cheese on it. Who eats a heated roast beef sandwich with cream cheese. Not me, I wanted American cheese. I guess I’m too old fashion. Got home with the food and found the errors.

Wow, best Italian sandwich in NC so far that I have had. The potatoe salad, chicken salad, and tuna salad are delicious. Definitely will think of this place when I need catering or just good deli place.

Simply the worst experience. I will never go there again and I suggest you save yourself the frustration. The manager/owner should really retire and should have never been in a business dealing with the public. She simply hates her customers. Here is what happened…I ordered and paid online for pick up. When I arrived, there was a line of about 15 people. My bag was sitting on the counter with my name and receipt stapled to it. I stepped up to the counter and explained I had an online order. The owner didn’t verbally respond, she just pointed to the back of the line. I was very confused so I thought she didn’t understand what I was saying. I explained I had ordered and paid online and just had to pick it up…that’s my order right there. She said “I understand, and I can’t give you the order until your turn in line”. I guess every other business is doing online ordering the wrong way?? EVERY place let’s you just pick up when you order ahead…kinda the point. Obviously everything was cold because I had to wait in line for over 15 min to get my order.

An absolutely perfect place to go for breakfast or lunch. Open early enough for a stop before school and always serving up the best fresh made breakfast!! Steak and cheese subs are loaded and delicious! Fresh donuts every day that change with the seasons and holidays. Highly recommended!

We have been coming here for several years now and really like their bagels. Their service is good most of the time. They have a “breakfast special” that has increasingly been going up in price. Usually you think of a special as something in the area that is better than most and brings people in to your business. Not sure what they call this a special. Maybe change the special to an actual “special”. Also now charging for water. Hummm.
