Our mission is to provide a place where our customers can unwind after a long day and enjoy great BBQ, food and drinks with friends and family. Catering is another great option that we’ve added. This is a local bbq place. Good food. Great service and a sports bar vibe. They have a full bar and good beers on tap. Meats are solid with brisket being my favorite, followed by pulled pork and then ribs. Jalapeño Mac & Cheese was tasty. Fried pickles were not dilly enough for my taste, but try for yourself.

Karoake thursday nights, great good, if your looking for cider Golden State on tap along with a variety of beer and great atomosphere. If your a sports fan every football game is always on and the crowd is always fun. We even held parties here and the dj that comes is awesome!!!

I went to Poppy’s Bar & Que today to watch the Broncos vs Raiders game. There were lots of fellow Broncos fans in the house, which made for a great atmosphere. The bar was clean, the staff was amazing, and the food was outstanding! I will definitely be returning.

First time trying BBQ in Folsom and it didn’t disappoint. Went there originally to watch a football game but was pleasantly surprised to encounter excellent BBQ. I definitely recommend trying this place out if you’re in the area.

From the moment you walk in, the energy is infectious. The place is decked out with more TVs than I could count, strategically placed so there’s not a bad seat in the house. It’s the kind of place where you can cheer with a crowd and feel the excitement of the game, but it’s not so loud that you can’t have a conversation at your table.
The staff was friendly, attentive, and clearly passionate about both the food and the games. Bri is our favorite.

Place is nice and clean with lots of room. Food is great. Not the largest choice of spirits but it works and beer choices are great. Definitely going back! Have to try a few more things on the menu.

I had an awesome experience at Poppy Bar and Que! The service was absolutely amazing—everyone was friendly and attentive, especially the bartender, who made the visit even more enjoyable with great energy and conversation.
One highlight of the night was definitely the mac and cheese balls—crispy on the outside, creamy and cheesy on the inside. So good, I’d go back just for those!

Had a patty melt it’s pretty solid. I just stopped in for a quick meal to go, but while I was waiting, I chatted with the young bartender. She was sweet, charismatic and attentive. I would definitely come back for food and grab a few drinks here in the future.
