This place is excellent. We came on a recommendation from a local restaurant worker while in vacation in TC. The best food we had on the trip, no question. They have rotating soups and we tried the Tomato as well as a red lentil soup. Also would definitely recommend the Brussels with a sweet heat Asian inspired flavor. I cleaned the plate completely!

This place offers very well prepared takes on a diversity of signature dishes that you will find at various fine dining Americana restaurants around the country. It has a New Orleans vibe and offers mellow jazz in the background. The energy of the patrons is high level as all appear to be enjoying the atmosphere, the quality food, the well made craft cocktails, and the enjoyable selection of locally brewed beers that they have on tap. The service is very friendly and interact with you frequently to ensure that you are enjoying your experience. The food is not only very tasty but the presentation is beautiful. The only disappointment is that the portions served were a bit modest to sate the ravenous appetite that the taste and presentation initially create. For our visit this time we thoroughly enjoyed the lamb ragout and the shrimp & grits

This is a really fun restaurant with peppy, but not too loud music, and bright artwork adorning the walls. The staff were beyond friendly and absolutely made us feel welcome. The food – OMG, the food! Everything was amazing! The pita chips were the best we’ve ever had! The tomato spinach soup lived up to the hype it has in the other reviews. The key lime shrimp pasta was surprisingly light and delicious. We need the night with the Chocolate Oblivion and it was decadent! Just a fantastic night! Please make this restaurant a priority visit when you are in Traverse City, you will not be disappointed!

My Son and I stopped in for a Late lunch and thoroughly enjoyed our visit. The atmosphere is very relaxed with fantastic blues music being played and beautiful artwork of scenes from the area from a local artist. They have a fantastic variety of mixed drinks, wine and beer. Our server Luaren was friendly, professional, knowledgeable and thorough. I had the Rueben with fries and it was one of the best! My Son thoroughly enjoyed his Ban Mi dish.

The food here was very good. Not the biggest menu to choose from, but we all enjoyed our food. The service was good. The restaurant is small with barely any room to walk. We definitely will

Wow! Blown away! So, my husband and I decided to try and walk in for dinner since it was late evening on a Sunday. This place was PACKED, but the food and desserts when I peaked in looked like it was worth the hour wait. We didn’t wait more than 4 minutes when the host said “We can get you in now!” Every single employee in that place was running and they worked so efficiently together, and I was so impressed! I was positioned in the restaurant to see the servers and bartenders and hostess making desserts and busting tables LIKE A BOSS! The food took a little wait after we ordered, but for obvious reasons. No complaints! The server kept our waters and drinks topped off. I also had noticed chocolate cake in the display and asked to grab it ahead of time (and he boxed it up for me right away!) the salmon dish was bursting with flavor, great spice, and the feta made it creamy, the fish portion size was large – amazing. My husband ordered the Pork Ribeye and it was tender and juicy. He didn’t love the pistachio sauce, but otherwise enjoyed his dish. The pinot Grigio was fabulous…. And the chocolate cake- WORTH IT!!!

Our overall experience here was excellent. The food, service, and drinks were all outstanding.

For our meal, my wife ordered the Up North Cobb salad, and I chose the Market Steak. It was one of the best steaks I’ve had in a long time in Traverse City. I’ll let the picture speak for itself.

OBSESSED! Every single time, it is a 1000/10! I’m hooked on the key lime shrimp pasta, the flavor is immaculate. But, will say, there isn’t anything I have tried from Poppycocks that I have not LOVED!

I had an amazing dinner here. I ordered the duck special, which was phenomenal, and I started with the banh mi fries, which was also delicious. I had a Manhattan that was pretty good as well. I would highly recommend this place.
