Great little place! The food was really good and lots of it. Breakfast, coffee and OJ for 2 people was about $21. Nice environment. Surprisingly quiet, for being a smaller space. Every employee I interacted with was very friendly. I will definitely eat here again, the next time I’m in the area.

I give this restaurant 0 stars. One woman in my apartment building asked me to get her dinner for her. She lied to me AS WELL AS the waitress about having the order and the order never came. Show people some courtesy and respect even if they have low self confidence. Thank you.

I ordered the Eggs Benedict to go. While the friendly service and the clean diningroom are always noted and appreciated, I’ll steer clear of the Eggs Benedict from now on. The eggs weren’t poached. Rather, they were made like an omelet minus all the fillings. The ham was too thick, and the Hollandaise sauce was more like an extremely thick cheese sauce in taste and appearance. Just not for me. On the other hand, in past visits, everything else I’ve ordered there has been very good-pancakes, French toast, etc. and always with a friendly smile.

Food was very disappointing- salty meat- old onions, hair in my food. The Mexican food was not fit for consumption. I had one bite and was unappealing. I sent it back. You could tell salsa was old, the smell of it was not right. Let people add thier own salt.

I stopped into popp’ s ballpark diner for lunch while I was in the area stopping at Twigs. The preparation and food looked phenomenal. The waffle fries were a bit overcooked for me. And the patty seems a bit dry on my burger. I would definitely try eating here again.

Overall we had a good first experience with the cafe’s new ownership. We were there on a very busy Saturday morning (there was a baseball tournament going on) and while the wait was a little longer that was to be expected on such a busy day.
Our food tasted wonderful. The omelets were top notch. A mistake was made on one of table’s plates and thankfully an adjustment was made to our bill accordingly.
Prices are on the higher end but for a once and a while treat it was worth the money. Figuring the tip in our final bill was over 20 per person.

Ordered our food and appetizers. Took a while to get out food even though it was not busy. Which is fine. But we got our food then had to ask where the appetizers were. Steaks were super thin and cold. Eggs were a little over cooked. Waitress was not attentive. Had to go to the register to get the bill because she disappeared. I’ve gone here 1 other time and had a similar experience. Will not be going back.

Last few times I have been there it takes forever to get food, get the order wrong like I had my grandpa bring me a roadhouse chicken sandwhich back home one day when he went there and they put some weird orange spicy sauce on it instead of the normal bbq sauce.. it hasn’t been the same since they got rid of some great waitresses. Will take my business elsewhere.. miss what it used to be

We do not work for or no anyone at the diner we went and had Thanksgiving dinner and it was absolutely fantastic. The best Thanksgiving dinner I’ve ever had truly I would recommend them anytime any day.
