What a great little place to stop in Northern MN. We came in with friends to plenty of seating. This is a well cared for bar with a great menu and drinks. The staff was fun, patient and full of suggestions since it was our first time there. Make sure to try the homemade pizza, ground daily burgers, crispy chicken wings or creamy, delicious Ugly cheesecake! Check out the place for some meat raffles, live music, free Bingo or just to relax and unwind with friends!

I really enjoyed coming to the Popple Bar, the food was really good, the bar tenders great and the interior is good in a unique way.
The burger was delicious and goes great with bacon on it. The fries are fried right and seasoned very nicely.
The interior of the building is nice looking and there is a great view of the lake during the day.

How can you beat this gorgeous view!!! Kara was a sweet, personable bartender. Peyton was the sweetest waitress. Came in around 9, not knowing what time the grill closed. They made our food without hesitation. It was quick and scrumptious. A little off the beaten path, but great experience all the way around! Only complaint, was trying to get in the bar, the pull door got all 4 of our party

If you’re looking for a good beverage or tasty food, look no further. Looks small from the outside, though there is plenty of seating in this homey small town bar. Pam cooks amazing foods, especially her homemade pizzas. Small yet mighty menu, it’s not going to overwhelm you with options, though your going to find something delicious to eat. In the warm months, they have a patio out back overlooking Garfield lake.

What a hidden gem. I’d drove by the place many times and just thought it looked like a dive bar. But inside is absolutely fabulous…. the view of the lake, and the decorations. And the food was good. Service was wonderful.

It took over an hour and a half just to get our Appetizer. They don’t even refill your drinks you have to go up and ask them for more beverages. For taking as long as they did, the food wasn’t that good. Do not recommend this place at all
