We went to Vernon Texas it’s about 40 miles away and we found THE place to eat while in Vernon called Poppin Granny’s.
They have hand breaded all beef corn dogs, homemade lemonade and chicken bites with homemade ranch it was yummy. And my Honey had a Korean dog which was a all beef hot dog with chese wrapped around it and breaded in panco. We will definitely be back and the folks there were amazing too! Thank you so much for a wonderful experience

This is my first time getting to try Poppin Grannie and it was immaculate. Walk up to the resteraunt and it looks kinda small but once you walk in side it has a nice style of sitting in at a cafe in the forest. The couple that owns the restaurant were out of this world nice, they explained every option I was a little confused about. I got the spicy Korean dog and boy It was one of the tastiest dogs I’ve had in a long while. Not once were they rude in anyway, and I “MEAN REALLY NICE”. you don’t get that often is some resteraunts

For the basic need, I recommend the regular hot dog and corn dog. I get the regular corn dog, and the perfect nachos are really.

I came in and tried their Nugget Basket. It was delicious and reasonably priced!! Love the atmosphere with vintage items on the wall, too. Have done business in the past with Halie and Bryan when they operated Wok-It-Out for a number of years. If you’re in Vernon, TX, this is a MUST STOP!! Poppin’ Granny also has many varieties of corn dogs (more than IHOP has pancakes!) and gourmet popcorn.

These are the kindest people I’ve ever met. Friendly to every kind of person, great at recommending certain options based off what the customer might/ might not like, and it’s all too quality food and service! This lovely family works hard to curate a welcoming environment where you can sit and enjoy some delicious food and know you’re supporting a genuine business. I love Halie and Bryan, and their precious kids. They’ve worked so hard to be where they are and I’m blessed to be able to support them.

The owners are so kind and have great positive energy! I love having fair food all year long! The Korean dogs are crispy with a juicy dog and delicious, the regular dogs are perfect for my kids. The lemonade is tart and perfectly sweet and the fried pies are homemade and flaky. If you want a good meal with your family happy this is the place to be!

Hands down the best customer service and food!! So fun and personable during your experience! Halie and Bryan always go above and beyond for their customers. It’s not just great food, it’s a great time while you’re there!! You aren’t just a customer, you are part of the Poppin Granny family as soon as you walk in the door! I’ve seen Halie carry food out to cars for customers, open car doors for elderly as she’s bringing their food out to their cars, and the list goes on!! It truly is a great establishment with amazing owners. You can’t ask for better people.
