Delightful new spot in downtown Apex! We sorely needed more breakfast options and Popovers Cafe does not disappoint. The space is stunning and welcoming. The drinks and food are clearly crafted with care. And the staff are super friendly and helpful with recommendations. The flavor combos are absolutely delicious. We tried a Lincoln and Mama Mia – both with the Parmesan Herb butter. The blueberry and fig jams went well with both. The honey whipped ice coffee is rich and decadent and we also sampled a lovely Turkish tea. Everyone needs to come support this excellent addition to Salem Street!

Happened by this new place with a friend and almost didn’t stop in because it was just a few minutes before closing and we didn’t want to impose, but the manager waved us in and welcomed us with such kind hospitality, offering us a free sample of their Turkish tea and insisting we sit down and look over the menu! We ordered an iced Greek coffee and a whipped honey coffee to go and both were delicious! The decor is beautiful and the atmosphere is very warm and calming. I can’t wait to go back when I have more time to enjoy it and try a popover!
