Popo’s Cookies was a great first place to stop while exploring Hanapepe! There is a parking lot across the street, then going down the alley brings you into a quaint courtyard.
The selection of cookies made it hard to choose, but we went with the Coconut Macadamia Nut Cookies and they did not disappoint. It turned into our lunch while we walked down the main street of Hanapepe.

The smell alone is worth the stop. The people who run the shop are incredibly kind and helpful.
Crisp cookies that are as good as they smell. Coconut macadamia was excellent

a place to get homemade cookies that aren’t overly sweet. the cookies are very crunchy and thin. you can get them in little bags which are perfect for gifts. i see some people are saying the staff aren’t friendly but i had a good experience and she gave us recommendations for our trip.

The cookies are good but weren’t quite what we were expecting from a cookie shop. All the cookies are pre-packaged in baggies, you can’t just buy one or two fresh cookies. They are buttery, crispy-style cookies. We had the white chocolate macadamia nut cookies.

Delicious and addicting cookies – we came back. Yes they are crunchy cookies but they are buttery and delicious and dissolve in your mouth. Our favorites were the Butter Dreams and the Keola Deelites.

This is the best cookie on the planet! Had the Butter Dreams and OH MY GOSH – it is life changing! Called and found out they sell them at Sueoko Grocery and a few other places in the Poipu/Koloa area in addition to at their bakery so heading to Sueoko first thing in the morning to buy them out (since the bakery is closed on Saturday and Sunday). Y’all – I’m seriously addicted! Hope they ship to Texas…

Customer service was awful. I tried to order 3 macadamia nut cookies for $2.75 as the menu showed as an option. The person working, which I assume was the owner by some of the comments she made, was bagging hundreds of fresh cookies. She said she couldn’t give me 3 cookies until she bagged all the cookies and see if she had any “leftover” to sell the 3 to me. Crazy that she would not sell cookies to a customer right there and ready to make a purchase. Rather she would bag cookies for potential customers that aren’t even there yet. I didn’t buy the bag for cookies. My daughter bought some peanut butter chocolate chip and they were okay.
I don’t recommend this place. Go somewhere where your money is appreciated and where they will actually sell you the product that is intended to be purchased.

We stopped by Popo’s Cookies when exploring the swinging bridge. Loved the light crispy, buttery cookies. There was a variety to choose from. We tried chocolate chip macadamia nut, chocolate chip and peanut butter chocolate chip cookies. All three cookies were delicious. Very nice portions in every bag for the price.

Popped in for a second while the rest of the family was shopping in the town. The cookies are outlandishly great. I get it that there is a contingent of people (and reviewers it seems) who prefer a soft moist cookie. That’s not me. These crisp magical buttery cookies maybe veer more on the shortbread side than a boring soft cookie, but they are easily in my top cookie experience I’ve ever had. Perfection.
My favorite is the Butter Dreams with cornflakes adding an extra crunch texture.

A cute little shop tucked away! The owners were very kind and did a great job explaining their favorites. Their cookies are crunchy and crispy so if you like those types of cookies this is a good shop to swing by to. (I just prefer a soft and chewy cookie is all!) The owners were also super open to sharing local events and favorites!
