This place, from a customer service and quality standpoint, could definitely do better. I understand it’s fast food and not always the most pleasant job, but at least fake it till you make it. The lack of urgency and the overall dread to even be there is very obvious.
I rarely eat here, and every time I decide to give them another chance, they remind me why I don’t. Between the slow service and inconsistent food quality, it just hasn’t been worth it. I really hope they step it up because the location is convenient, but right now the experience just doesn’t match what it should be. They weren’t even busy when we got there and we waited 10+mins for cold shrimp and a missing biscuit.

I’d been craving Popeyes for weeks. I tried a few times to go to the one in Puyallup, but there’s never any staff working there.
So, I was relieved that someone was working & asked to take my order right away at this location.
I ordered the $6.99 big box with spicy tenders with coleslaw and mashed potatoes. As soon as I opened my box I noticed there was no biscuit, so I went back through the line. Luckily there was no line and she gave me an extra biscuit to make up for it. The biscuits were good, the mashed potatoes were good although it was exactly one level scoop inside of a much larger container, which is irritating. The coleslaw was actually bad, and I threw most of it away. The chicken was not only the worst chicken I’ve ever had from Popeyes, but was the coldest and most stale chicken I’ve ever ordered anywhere. It was so cold that it made me think the food warmer isn’t working right. The pieces were so tiny, one was less than two ounces, but I still ended up throwing some of it away cause it was *that* bad.
This might literally have been my last visit to Popeyes in my life. It’s always a big let down compared to my high expectations but this was really something else. I drove all the way out here from Longmire just to end up throwing a good portion of it away.

Always check your bag before pulling off. Other than that the food is great. They’re all so good about giving you your missing item the next time you come back. Just make sure you call and speak to a manager right when you find out an item is missing. Food is normally always fresh and the chicken is crispy.

Chicken has been dry and greasy the last three times I went. Customer service is horrible if u don’t want to work stay home don’t take it out on the customer. This Popeyes was great about a year ago I don’t know what happened won’t be coming back smh.

Two days ago, Oct 10th 2025, ordered through the app at 10:56 am. Pulled up to the drive thru 5 min later. Was told they were working on my order and to pull up to the green gate to wait and they’ll bring it out. I wait for 15 min and finally decide to go in and find out what’s going on. Not one customer in the restaurant and one kid visible in the back moving some bags of flour. I finally get his attention and he asks if he can help me. I ask if they forgot about me, explain I was in the drive thru waiting. He then starts looking at my ticket and says “oh, we’re waiting on your pies, it’ll be like 7 minutes”.
So I wait another 7 minutes, and get his attention again and he says the girl just put the pies in, sorry, it’ll be 7 minutes now. By this time it’s literally been over half a freaking hour since I placed the order so I say never mind the pies, just make my order and give me some other dessert. He then says “ok, your order has been ready, here’s some cheesecake cups”. Then the girl in the back says “why’d he ordered pies if he don’t want em?” The kid then says to her “cuz he’s been waiting over 30 minutes for you to make em!” She then proceeds to roll her eyes and shake her head.
I was too shocked and disgusted to say anything else. You mean to tell me my order has just been sitting there all this time getting cold? Of course I get it home and everything is barely edible and I throw most of it away. What a waste of my hard earned money.
Never again will I go to this location. Is there no manager on site to oversee this clown show?

For how much this food cost, employees should take the time yo get the order right. It’s sucks yo get off work, and sit in the drive through, then come back through the drive through and wait behind cars because you didn’t get all your food. With the exception of 6th Ave, all the Popeyes have mediocre service.

Just moved to the area and it’s the second time we come to this Popeyes. Everything this give attitude and never get our order right. I’m not sure how many times my husband said thank you and she just ignored him. Not sure why people think it’s okay to get paid to act so rude.
We ordered French fries as both our sides, it’s stated on the receipt and then we get Mac and cheese. Not only did they give us the wrong side but thought it was ok to just throw the fries in the bag under all the condiments. Won’t be coming back here.

If money is no big deal in the matter I’d like free food for life,
Management are clowns and thieves, they get off on trolling so id watch your food,
Above all else even if your polite here they will only give you half your order, and argue that’s what you ordered,
I’ll let the public answer if a
large combo only come with coleslaw and a drink.
I ordered the number 2 spicy Rojo chicken sandwitch combo, not only are they slacking but they had to substitute the sauce with ghost pepper,
After answering what extra side I’d like at witch i replied coleslaw, the woman taking the order said anything else at witch i replied may I get everything large, at witch i was met with the only thing that won’t be large will be the lemonade because that’s a specialty item, I said fine,
So now after it all goes south, not only was i robbed, I lost my appetite, they win, and I’ve been reported to the police, and the manager has taken down my license plate for God knows what reasons.
