Good quality and quantity of food with plenty of options. Very friendly professional staff. They now have a kiosk to place your order which provides a quick view of options and eases complex orders. Recommend eating in restaurant as it is exceptionally clean mantained and comfortable. Met the owner manager Paul who opened the location who was a pleasure to talk to.

Worst experience at a fast food restaurant. Will never be going again.

(I’m editing this review because it has not been resolved and probably never will. This happened last month and Popeyes customer service is a complete scam)

I am writing to formally express my deep frustration with a recent experience at the Popeyes in Lynden, WA. I attempted to use a $50 Popeyes gift card, which your support line later confirmed still had the full balance. However, the store manager incorrectly attempted to swipe the card through the credit card reader, claimed it was not accepted, and made no real effort to resolve the issue.

After waiting 20–30 minutes, my food was cold, and when I asked for it to be remade, I was forced to pay with my personal credit card because the manager could not figure out how to manually process the gift card. Her attitude was dismissive, rude, and unprofessional, which made the situation even more frustrating. To make matters worse, despite the long wait and payment issues, my order was completely wrong.

This entire experience, driving an hour round trip, dealing with an unhelpful manager, being unable to use a valid Popeyes gift card, receiving the wrong order, and then finding no way to reach a live customer service representative, is unacceptable. The virtual agent on your website is ineffective, and I have already submitted multiple complaints without a single response.

I am going to expect that I will get a “automated” response to this review about how they’re “sorry” but they do not actually care and will not resolve a simple issue. I will never go to this Popeyes ever again with the lack of proper service.

My husband and brother wanted to try out Popeyes, they drove to Lynden from Bellingham and back. Needless to say,it was the worst food we have ever had, the order was wrong, and the person ,who took the order, couldn’t be understood, and obviously couldn’t understand the order. It was really simple order 12 piece chicken meal. It was suppose to come with 4 sides, we got 3. We ordered 1 coke and got 3 and charged for 4, ordered 4 ranch dressings , got none. Ordered 2 strawberry cream cheese deserts, didn’t get those either! ! We definitely won’t ever go there ever again. Corporate will be also getting a call! We might as well of threw the $48.00 in the garbage! KFC is a million times better, and their workers understand and speak English! Unfortunately for this place, your not gonna make it in Lynden, there are way better, places to go! Actually this place doesn’t even deserve one star.

Every time I order food here I leave with less than I paid for, every time! This store is inept, from 1-2 missing sides to missing sandwiches, I look into every bag and count every item but even then something’s missing. For the high cost of their food the least they could do is give everything you’ve ordered. This was my last visit, I won’t return and look forward to the new Chick Filet opening!!

Workers don’t wear gloves and touch their faces and hair, sauces are constantly missing or wrong, including the fact I’ve NEVER received the special sauce with the pickle chips/fried pickles. Unsanitary and disgusting, health department should take a look at this place.

we got food here again because I had points and I was craving it because I’m currently pregnant. Bit into my burger in 2 different spots and it’s PINK & RAW. Do not eat here!

This experience was so awful i made this account to share it.
Ordered online for pick up, the person at the register couldn’t care less. Had to ask them four times till they made an effort to grab the order from the counter behind them.
Waiting for them to care was a 30 minute process. While waiting, I watched the operation. No one has gloves on. Watched staff scratch themselves and continue on. No handwashing. One staff member had very itchy hair.
Just do not, please for your health, safety and sanity go elsewhere.

Super disappointing! Came specifically for the Five Nights at Freddys meal and ordered the deluxe version to get the special cupcake. When I got my food I was given a cheaper dessert as they were out of the cupcakes, which I was not informed before paying. No signs, no warning. The difference in meal price was about $9 and the only difference was the $3 drink and $2 pie. Ridiculous that I paid double the price, lost money, and didn’t even get the special item! The meal needs to be taken off your menu if your not even going to sell it!

This will be my last Popeyes chicken from here. The last 3 times there’s been something missing or something I didn’t order. Wrong food sent out , some food not sent , manager needs better English as well as the cashier. Nothing’s tastes like it should
