I placed my family feast orders online. I had a couple of errands to run and had to commute 20 minutes since there’s no Popeyes closer than the Dixon location. About 1 hour passed and I arrived to pick up. We had to go through the Drive Thru because the dining area was closed and closed off. I asked to pick up my order and it STILL wasn’t ready for me. They asked me to pull around to the front and told me I had to wait 20 minutes for the mild chicken to be ready. Well, an additional 45 minutes passed. So I waited 1 HOUR AND 45 MINUTES for my orders. Others seemed to not have waited too long for their order. The customer service was lacking quality as well. When we got the chicken, I looked in the box and wondered why it looked like the chicken shrank. I ordered a 10 piece and 14 piece. As you see in my photo, they’re using smaller chicken. The drumstick is almost the same size as the wing! In addition, the “large” containers for the sides have gotten smaller and they don’t even fill it up to the top. We also ordered red beans and rice, which was not filled to the top and didn’t have enough rice.
We will not be returning. I’ve eaten Popeyes for nearly 3 decades now and this was the worse experience and food ever.

I recently had a highly disappointing experience with the chicken dish I ordered. To my surprise, the chicken inside was completely black in color, and worse yet, there was no meat to be found. It was a complete letdown and far from what I expected.

They had fun things in jars pickling and I love that kinda stuff 🙂 also, the staff was nice and the chicken sandwich is so cheap and good. I love myself some fried chicken and this was so so delicious! And fast too. I always get an apple pie to finish the meal deal 🙂

There are places where the cleanliness of the store and the presentation of seating area let’s you know where you can trust the food or question the quality… this is clean and plenty of seating options. The food they served was surprisingly well displayed and good portions, no soggy coleslaw or overly filled sandwiches with mayo or old lettuce but crisp. Exceptional customer service as if each one loves their job!

Chicken or shoe leather? We ordered a fairly large order and so you would expect at least some of it to be hot and juicy…but it was midday and so i guess they must’ve just scraped out the old chicken from earlier in the day and given it to us. Next time I’ll hit the burger joint instead.

Polite and helpful staff. Best Popeyes in the area. Open late and remains open on Christmas (a big deal for our Christmas fried chicken tradition). We drive from Rosemont to this Popeyes because we know they are consistently well staffed, have quality product, and have never messed up our food. 10/10 would recommend.

Check your order if it’s a big one just to make sure everything is there. The food was fresh and quite tasty. Shrimp was cooked fresh so it took a few minutes more, but I’d prefer seafood be freshly cooked myself. Unlike other places, the spicy chicken sandwich was actually spicy, truth in advertising. Chicken was fresh and crisp. Although they were swamped, they didn’t take forever as many places do, and they were friendly and courteous. Surprisingly inexpensive as well
