I went back to the store right away to have the order corrected, but the manager refused to replace my food because I didn’t have the receipt. As someone who used to be an assistant manager for Popeyes, I know how the process works, and I also know that this situation could’ve easily been handled differently. I’m fully aware that some stores shut down their fryers after 9 PM to start the closing process, and it was clear they simply didn’t want to make my tenders because of that.
This was poor customer service and completely avoidable. I wasn’t asking for anything unreasonable just the food I actually ordered. I’d appreciate if this situation could be reviewed and the issue made right, whether that’s a replacement or refund. More importantly, I hope this manager is reminded that customer satisfaction shouldn’t be sacrificed for convenience at closing time.
This is the best chicken, Macaroni and Cheese, Biscuit and drink I ever had!!!

No one said anything to me of what was going on or anything. Once I received my order I asked the cashier if they were closing or if the dining area was closed. He said “oh no one is allowed inside but since you were inside I just took your order.” Ok that was nice of him but it would have been nice for them to just tell me what was going on. Instead there was a moment of awkward feeling.
Anyway, got the food it was nice and hot but was not fresh. Not only did I have to wait for the food it wasn’t even fresh. I ordered Apple Pies and Beignets (new) those were the best things in my food order. Sorry to disappoint all of you but I have no food pictures to share, they didn’t look good enough for photography.
Customer Service needs improvement no matter what the situation is. Need to communicate with customers. Otherwise there’s not much to say about this location except for just come to the drive-thru, service might be faster :).
Note: staff wore masks and gloves and hand sanitizer was available at the door.
