Ordered a 3 piece tender for $10.99, came out quick and as expected. The chicken itself is crispy and the signature sauce has a tiny bit of kick. It’s good, better than KFC, but the price point is not great for this particular item. Still, their family meals are decent and will return.

This Popeye is not a good one. Food: The chicken is very dry, overcooked. Every time I get chicken from here it is always dry. Today was different, I have never had a dry drum. I normally give grace with the breast. It is a difficult thing to cook breasts, this was dark meat. When you dry out dark meat, there is some extra training that needs to be done.

Service: I have gone through the drive-thru and dined in. The drive-thru can take a while, what’s strange is that this Popeyes is not busy. Dining in you have to contend with young working people who don’t know how to give good customer service. Just speak to the manager. The inside is clean.

I went to Popeyes to take food to go tonight from the drive through. The employee had great customer service and made the ordering process easy. I was really impressed about the care he took in my order and was very personable. I will definitely be back

We stopped by to go to In-N-Out, but the line was super long and we didn’t want to wait 20+ minutes. We looked at Popeyes and there was one car in the parking lot and no one in the drive thru. So we decided to give it a try – first time ever.

The sandwich was pretty good, and the ability to make it spicy was a nice addition. I got the Bacon & Cheese (just OK, cheese was not melted and the bun was much bigger than the chicken), my wife got the Blackened Sandwich which she was was just OK and my daughter got the 3 tenders with ranch and she liked them.

We did not get a combo so no sides and no drinks. The cost was around $22 which seemed a bit high for what we got. The store was clean but the restrooms needed some work – and my wife didn’t even go in because they are multi-gender.

Haven’t had Popeyes in years, and was looking forward to their 3 piece meal to take home and enjoy. I’ve always loved their chicken, but was probably looking forward to their red beans and rice more than anything. After paying nearly $16 dollars, I went home and ate my overpriced, incorrect order consisting of 2 legs, 1 thigh, 1 stale biscuit and freaking MASHED POTATOES!!? I’m done with this place.

I’m not sure what people are talking about in other reviews. In my experience, this place was very clean and modern looking. The staff were very nice, my order was correct, and the food was good!

Great food – decent prices
Happy to have a Popeyes in south Orange County

I previously worked in mission viejo and was delighted to find a Popeyes chicken and n the previous Carl’s Jr location on Camino

If a single suggestion could be made – a friendly welcome to Popeyes and a smile would be great when walking in the door.

Whoever the dude is working the drive through on 2/12/2026 give him a raise! I usually expect a wait at all Popeyes but this man had my order ready like his life depended on it!

This Popeyes location is a complete disaster. Walking in, I was immediately struck by the filth—dirty floors, overflowing trash cans, and tables that hadn’t been cleaned in who knows how long. The staff was utterly incompetent, fumbling through orders and showing zero professionalism. After a painfully long wait, I finally received my meal, which was a complete letdown. The chicken was a dry, overcooked mess, and the sides were not only cold but tasted like they had been sitting out for hours. The biscuits were the worst of all—so hard and flavorless that I had to spit them out. To add insult to injury, the meal was grossly overpriced for the tiny portion served. It was a total rip-off. Save yourself the trouble and avoid this nightmare of a restaurant at all costs.
