Notorious OGP
Slow is an understatement. There was a car in front of me. The driver was arguing with the staff. When they left and I pulled to the window, I heard profanity being used in a conversation about the other customer. When I finally got my order there were no napkins or utensils in the bag. The kid at the drive thru window was too worried about being cool to care about me. My visit was Sunday around 6pm. I was not given a receipt either, but I didn’t feel comfortable asking for it after what I had just seen.

The employees are all very nice and accommodating! We waited about 15 minutes for the food, but we were patient and understood because they were very busy inside and in their drive through! Would come here again!

THAT WAS ONE BASIC BIRD… I’m a bit disappointed by this new Popeyes location in SJ. I came around 11:30am expecting the chicken to be solid and it tasted dry, as if it was in warmer and sitting for a bit. Idk if they reheated chicken from the previous day but this was not it. For almost $15 bucks I got a drink, three dry chicken tenders, a tiny biscuit and an EXTRA small mac & cheese side (for a 50 cent up charge). The mac was fine, but again, the top layer of cheese on the pasta was just sitting there clumped like it was in a cafeteria warmer.
The serving size sucks for the amount of money you’re paying. I’d honestly go to KFC, I think they’re winning the fast food chicken game currently.
Staff were decent, I got a super friendly lady and a grumpy one on the same visit. The restaurant looks clean and the drive-thru process was seamless. I was able to enter without a struggle to order my food.

This popeyes is it true example of what future restaurants will look like. You had to go to the kiosk to order then if you wanted to pay by cash you could go to the register but until you actually pay by cash they wouldn’t put your order in which I thought was interesting because no one came and checked on me until I said hey I need to pay for my order. that was a little bit of a bother. it’s Popeyes so you know what Popeye’s chicken taste like everything was fresh done like it should be. I ordered the big box special which is the two piece amd two sides. Drink not included. I had to pay separately for that. Also i couldn’t order a single wing from the kiosk. I had to do that at the counter. there wasn’t too many order stations so that could present some trouble I think they want everything to be mobile. They have a mobile app section so you would just pick up your mobile order. The drive-thru has two lanes which I thought was cool so that helps it moves a little bit faster it’s nice. Decent inside but there was options to sit and eat if you wanted to. Could have been cleaner, dropped my lid in a stain and had to get another one.

She gave me the fries and I asked if she could give me a side of mashed potatoes for the inconvenience which she did. No apology whatsoever, which coming from a manager is disappointing. Do better Popeyes’s it doesn’t take much to own up to the mistake. Definitely left very disappointed in Popeyes today.

I ordered a 16 pcs family meal with a side of coleslaw and mash potatoes. Plus some fries and an extra mash. Got home the chicken was not hot. It looked fresh, and took a long time to get my order for it to be cold I literally live a block oway for the chicken to not not be hot and fresh. 1 things I know the I like the mash potatoes and thr slaw it was good and biscuits were ok. Not my cup of tea. Just had to try it. I am a church’s chicken chic lo.

So, we ordered the Festive Family meal, and as in the photo, that is how it came. 5 Tenders, 8 biscuits. Biscuts covering the tenders to mimic the weight it is supposed to be. I mean, come on! The drive-thru attendant is supposed to make sure the order is correct. Total crap! Why pay money for horrible service. Waited in line for junk! I’d rather go off of Florida. Even better, up the hill. Not satisfied at all. Then, I went to call and the number is no good! Even looked it up. Same number, and it’s no good. You all suck!!

Every time I’ve come by my food has been great, obviously the prices are inflated, BUT I like being able to order on the screen. I haven’t had a horrible experience yet, I like that this restaurant looks clean and is close to home. The lobby is open until 10pm, the drive through is open until 12am. I low-key don’t think the wings are worth it, they’re very small.
