Love love love this specific location. Staff is dope. Food is fresh and tastes authentic. They nail it every time. The woman with the glasses(usually up front) should be training your nationwide staff on customer service and problem solving. This location has to be an “A” store as I’ve tried them all over San Diego and these guys stick the landing every time. Thanks gang!!

First time trying out this location and it was not bad. Service was amazing, the lady at the window was very friendly and even replaced my specialty sweet tea because I didn’t know they only came in a medium size even though I ordered a large combo.
Only complaint I have is I received half a box of fries and wings sitting in a pool of oil (see pictures). The wings themselves were good though. Overall 4 ⭐️

This is hands down, the nicest Popeye’s I’ve ever been to. I know….it’s a Popeye’s, so the bar is low. I’m telling you the staff is super polite and friendly, and the kitchen and dining area is spotless. I would actually consider using the 5 second rule here if I dropped something. Highly recommended!!!!

The night shift workers has to be the Slowest workers ever. Like having to wait 25 mins when I’m literally the only customer inside is INSANE. Zero sense of urgency from the workers that’s what happens when you just hire a bunch of edgars and torta, all they do is chit chat and laugh around.

Popeyes has never let me down in terms of quality, I love everything about them, the cashiers are always very friendly and as long as I’ve been going here I have never had a problem with an order. My only complaint is the BBQ sauce limit, that being said, I am known to use an excessive amount of BBQ sauce so the average customer shouldn’t have a problem with one or two. Enjoy!

I finally had one of those “Famous” Chicken sandwiches that made the news, ruined traffic and a couple lives. My thoughts…
It was very tasty! I got the spicy version as is my preference with Popeyes chicken. It was very juicy and flavorful. I would get it again especially with lots of the sauce they use. You can see from the picture I ate the whole sandwich. But… It didn’t change my life and ruin all other chicken sandwiches for all time. I liked it. Very much. If I saw even a line I would just move on though, don’t get into a mile long cue for this. Plus this Highland Ave location was very nice and the service was polite and helpful. As a general complaint I will say that charging for sauces is a horrible trend with all restaurants, including Popeyes.

Quality here is better than the few others in the SD area . Great , friendly service. I come here often. With my parents , my mom and I are huge fans of the chicken sandwiches .

WORST POPEYES EVER! Go to another location. This place is so dirty, and customer service is horrible. Lady looked at me when I entered and didn’t ask for my order. She kept doing her thing and six minutes later, she took my order. I ordered six wings, I had to wait 27 minutes because I kept going up to the front asking them about my order. The lady said that it takes 8 minutes to make the wings, but this was 20 minutes after they placed my order. There were six workers there. So it’s not because they are lacking employees. Not only that, but my wings weren’t even good. I was so close on asking for a refund. Meanwhile, drive-thru was going by pretty fast.

Nice, clean, attention to the customers, I had to wait for.my strips to be made fresh for about 15 minutes but I didnt mind, the manager keept updating me and I would argue that she had them made specially for.me because they where extra good, extra crispy, I will definetly come back.
