I have seen many commercials and always wanted to try pop eyes. I told my husband it’d make me happy to try their food. He got me food from this location tonight.
Drove 30 Minutes to come home, the food was still warm. I really liked it, was a good dinner. We got the two popcorn shrimp, combo and platter with french fries and Iiked the rice and beans with the biscuit. Lemonade was pretty good too! I know this place has bad reviews but they didn’t forget anything.

The cerritos popeyes never has a bathroom available inside and when you order a 2 peice meal in drive thru, I waited 45 minutes with only 1 car in front. I finally gave up and drove backwards to cxl my order. No reason. To takethat long foe a2 peicce meal!!!

I love the food here. Their chicken is one of the best in my opinion.
The service is poor just for the fact that they are always understaffed. I went on my lunch break for a quick meal and there was only one employee handling the drive thru and customers that were dining in.
I drove thru so can’t really say much about the dine in atmosphere but it looked nice inside regardless.

I ordered 12 strips half mild and half spicy in drive through. But team gave all mild saying spicy will take 6 mins. They did not even ask me if I would like wait force me to take mild. They did not have wings which I wanted to order in 1st place and top that gave me something which I did not order. Very bad experience.

We ordered using the app. They were super fast, friendly, and the order was filled accurately. My only issue was the food was kind of bland, since we didn’t order the spicy variety, and our chicken strips were teeny tiny, dry, and hard to chew. Almost like fried chicken jerky.
