I understand I came through 15 mins before closing but after a long day I tried to get something to eat and these people didn’t want to serve me food or make anything new. I and to Taco Bell and they served me with a smile. So dissatisfied. It was even my first time trying to go to Popeyes. I just wanted a chicken sandwich nothing extreme.

This is absolutely the worst Popeyes I have ever been to, while Popeyes is my #1 chicken restaurant the staff and management in this restaurant location are the rudest I have ever seen anywhere I went through the drive-thru the other day and was going to order ghost Wings however I was told it would be a 12 to 15 minute wait the lady at the window told me if I chose to wait that she would give me a 12-piece combo for the price of a 6-piece combo so I decided to wait pulled up to the window to pay the man at the i assume he was the manager informed me that this would not be happening so I left rather then cause a fuss. I went across the street to Churches Chicken where I received no attitude and no wait. I would just as soon drive to Midland Texas for Popeyes then deal with the staff and the management in the morning in Hobbs New Mexico do not know that I will ever be back……. and I have figured out why they have no fear how they treat their customers you cannot get hold of corporate and management will not either be given the message or will not call you back

Everything we’ve come to eat here, they are friendly and ready to take our order. Imo, one of the best fast food any time. There are times they are so busy there is about a10-15 minute wait. It’s worth it!

We love Popeye’s Chicken. We were in the mood for some spicy chicken with their signature sides. We spent $42 for family dinner and got 3 sides and we picked it up around 3:30. The chicken had a funny sour twinge to me so after eating most of one piece, I stopped there. Maybe the grease needs changed? The mashed potatoes lacked their usual hot flavorfulness, the Mac and cheese was cold and stodgy, and the red beans and rice you ask? The rice was really dry and firm like when it sets out too long and the beans on the bottom were more like gummy refried beans than the usual ones that are soupy enough to dip the rice down into….needless to say, we did not find this a satisfying experience. I love Popeyes so much that if I do not get a response from management within the week, I will be calling corporate. Not just for my own issue but for the lack of response to all the other complaints. I just want us all to do better… I fear that if the complaints keep piling up that it’s Popeyes name that will suffer, not just the owner and management here in Hobbs. It matters People. Take some pride.

Every time I have been to this location they have been rude from management down I have seen the management [aka black shirts] cussing and screaming at employees missing parts of my order. to being lied too. I called to speak with the store manager finally after numerous days of trying to reach someone at corporate only to find corporate does not take phone calls. I finally got hold of a lady named Crystal in the store was told she was the General / store manager and in explaining to her the situation she told me yes I remember the order then turned around and told me that I was nothing but a liar and started screaming at me to get off of her phone

Update: We tried again. This time we went in. It was almost lunch time. Not busy yet. Thank goodness. The manager was cussing out one of her subordinates in the back. It was seriously awful. Telling her to get the f out of her house. It was obviously a personal issue between the two and had no place being dealt with at work. So far still not a good experience. Positive note: the red beans and rice were good.

After I paid for my order I was asked to pull forward by a door and await my order. After 5 minutes a lady comes outside with an attitude informing me I was blocking the drive thru and needed to move. I expressed that there was no need for an attitude, she said she was getting into trouble because I’m causing the drive thru timer “wait time” to go up and I needed to move. I informed her that my vehicle was too large to make the turn and she said to run the curb over and drive in the landscape, it didn’t matter just move. Poor attitudes from the staff. There’s no reason for any of it. Most definitely will not revisit this place while I’m in Hobbs again.

RUDE!! RUDE!! RUDE!! Management was extremely unprofessional how does Popeyes even have people like these working there… I went to the drive thru I was told the wait was about 10 min I said ok no problem after 30 min I went inside manager Tai was extremely RUDE! She didn’t even apologize that it took 30 min after I was told 7-10 min wait!!! Well I took my food home I live 2 minutes away only for the food to be cold !! If u want rude managers Popeyes is the place to go!! Never again will I go to this location unless things change

I hate to leave a bad review because I know what it should do for a company. I love eating at Popeyes and I was so happy when I heard they were coming to town but I have seen MANAGEMENT get into it with their employees until they walked out the door, and, most other times especially today they did not care if you were even in the store they were out of so much food, not only food, but they only had lemonade and tea to drink and the ice machine did not work. No apologies just a look like you’re so stupid for not wanting to eat here . I hope so bad the owners get ahold of MANAGEMENT here or this will be another closed store in the near future.
