WOW! Hadn’t been here in a while. Prices went up and the chicken looks anorexic. Ordered a 2 piece combo. I asked for a breast and thigh. I got a wing that was the size of a nugget and the breast the size of a thigh. I also ordered an extra side. When I opened my cole slaw and mashed potatoes the containers weren’t even filled up half way. Almost $4 for a half filled small. I know food has gone up in price but to skimp on their food like that….hmmm. Not sure if I’ll go back. Not only was my order wrong but it was very downsized for the price. The only plus was since it was a to go order I didn’t put ice in my drink so I might have gotten my money’s worth.

Ordered some wings and macaroni for Pickup for dinner tonight . When I arrived and received my bag it looked fine. I placed the bag on my passenger seat. When I got home I noticed my bag was COVERED in oil . I took it inside and found that they put my wings in the bag sideways . I’m not very happy that there’s an oil stain on the seat of my new car . Love Popeyes food but something has got to change. Don’t know if it’s the management or lazy workers. Every single time I come to Popeyes I am forced to wait 30 minutes for my food!! Went there to order two shrimp boxes (Lenten item – 8 pieces each); one “original” and one “garlic parmesan” which was an advertised option. Also one side. When I got home, one box (original) had the proper number of shrimp, but the other box only contained four pieces – none with garlic parmesan. The side was okay, if small.

Just left Popeyes and haven’t been here in over a year. Now we know why we didn’t go back because ALWAYS LEFT WITH MY ORDER INCORRECT AFTER WAITING LONG. Like I get Busy but everytime were there it’s not always busy. I asked for my tenders to be spicy yet I got original, I asked for fries I got 2 extra biscuits, I asked for blackened ranch I only got 2 and 2 buttermilk ranch. I asked for Half Hi-C and half Sprite I did not get that. Like is it hard to read or do people not want to work anymore.

The owner of this location needs to do a surprise visit and try the food they are serving at this location. This is the worse Popeyes I have ever been to. The food is inconsistent. One day the chicken seems freshly cooked. The next day it looks and tastes like they refried yesterday’s unsold chicken. Today I received slimly mac and cheese. This could result in food poisoning. Stay away from this location. They do not care about what they sell to their customers. They spend more time playing then serving their customers.
I went one other time and order a 2 PC dark meat spicy. The girl taking the order said she didn’t know which pieces were dark meat. How do you work at a chicken restaurant and not know the difference in the pieces of chicken you sell?

Definitely robbing people. Ordered a family meal of the 16 piece chicken and it clearly stated on the menu AND online this family deal comes with 3 large sides… was told it only comes with 2. Which makes NO sense. I even showed the girl at the window that it was clearly stated on the menu and still had to pay $65 to buy the extra large side that I really shouldn’t have had to buy. It’s clear this Popeyes isn’t it. I’ll definitely be calling corporate on this as well.

Was happy to see this place open up in Las Cruces. Usually get their spicy chicken, which is great, but finally tried the chicken sandwich, ridiculously good. Always get red beans and rice as my side, which is always good and consistent. Add some good sweet tea and this is a winner. For a new location service has been mostly good.
