The Popeyes off 620 in Round Rock is truly one of the best-run locations I’ve ever visited. Every single time I come here, the team greets me with genuine smiles and positive energy. My orders are always fresh, hot, and perfectly accurate—consistency you don’t find often these days.

Keily, Suyapa, Rolando, and Zachariah deserve a special shout-out for their friendliness and great customer service. They don’t just take your order; they actually care—asking how my day and family are doing, which makes every visit feel personal.

The one thing I suggest is for the TVs to maybe show cartoons, sporting events or short shows – just a thought.

The restaurant is spotless, from the dining area to the bathrooms, and the food tastes just as good as it looks. It’s rare to find fast food with this level of warmth and pride in what they do. Round Rock’s Popeyes on 620 is a true gem.

I had chicken tenders. They were just ok. Nothing special. I was disappointed because the bone in chicken is always wonderful. I used the app to order. It was easy to select my food. However the promotion coupon I had took me awhile to figure out how to apply for the promotion. Overall I like popeyes chicken just not a fan of the tenders.

I went through the drive-thru to order the special, and the cashier was very rude when I simply asked questions about the prices. I come to this location at least five times a week, and if the prices change, I have every right to ask questions and receive good customer service.

When I pulled up to the window and asked to speak to the manager, the cashier suddenly acted as if she didn’t understand me and completely ignored my request. She then walked away in a rude manner and called someone on the phone who claimed to be the manager. Although he apologized, there was no real comfort, no accountability, and no attempt to provide customer satisfaction.

Beware when you visit this location—especially the drive-thru—because they do not treat their customers with respect.

I asked a simple question during drive through if they sell a spicy fried chicken because last time I didnt get what I ordered. The staff said what is on the menu is what they sell. What is up with his attitude. I politely asked him to confirm but he couldnt show any professionalism and said he will call the police because I asked him the same simple question. Maybe this why tumble22 or chickfila dominates the market. I have recorded a video of this terrible employee if you want to teach him a lession

Arrived at Popeyes and ordered number 2) 2 piece chicken with red beans rice a number 4) 3 piece tender with mash potatoes and a large side of fries….. received our food extra cold extra dry, no ketchup available and our order was slightly wrong. When trying to tell someone about the order there was no employee on sight for a good while, it’s as if they all went to brake at the same time. By the time someone showed up we were already sitting down eating cardboard aka dry chicken. Definitely would not recommend this location.

Zachary was the first “Austinite” I encountered upon stopping for a quick snack before b-day dinner!
I truly wish I could pull Employees like Zachary that displays such enthusiasm and pride in what they do for work. You would have thought he was Owner of this popeyes with the level of assistance and courtesy shown! (Cherry pie was delish) Chicken was hot and fresh. Ordered drive-thru, so outside of building appeared clean! (I’ve seen where packets and trash is never swept outside, windows aren’t cleaned, so can only imagine other areas!)
Wish we had more like Zachary’s attitude in the fast food chain Industry! If you take pride in what you do working in any industry, your moment will come soon on a grand scale if so desired! You never know whose watching!!
Zachary, I hope you are looking into leadership or even franchising, as you certainly deserve to level up if so desired! Keep up the wonderful service level and work!

I’m surprised to be writing this, but I’ve tried contacting the district manager with no response about what occurred.

I came with my family for dinner. I ordered three number 1 and one of the number two combo with bacon and cheese. I decided that I wanted a water cup. So I get up and go to the register. This time the manager is tending the register, I ask for a water cup and he says we don’t have any. I said okay, then can I get a normal to get water and he says no because you have pay for it. I was really shocked that he was unwilling to remedy the situation, but decide it wasn’t worth it and just sat back down.

Our food is finally ready, and I go grab our food silently and sit back down. A second later I get called back up by the other employee to pick up the remaining order. As the employee handed me the sandwich, I said thank you to him. I could tell the manager was annoyed that I said thank you to the employee, and not when I received my order from him (the manager) earlier. I check all the sandwiches and realize that they gave a normal chicken sandwich without the bacon and cheese. I go back to the register and explain the problem along with the receipt. He says that I didn’t pay for the bacon and cheese. I said okay, that’s weird because the number 2 on the menu above your head says “with bacon and cheese”. He continues that it’s an add-on. I said that’s fine. Just give me a refund on this sandwich and let me buy a new sandwich with the bacon and cheese. He says okay. And then as he’s working on the register he says “you don’t have to talk to me like that”. It was clear I was bit agitated but I wasn’t rude to him in anyway. I asked him for his name so I can talk to his supervisor, but he refused to give me his name. He said “go ahead report me. A lot of people do and nothing is going to happen.”

That’s when I snapped a picture of him so that I could help the supervisor identify the manager on duty. That’s when he decided that he was no longer going to refund my sandwich and not sell me the corrected sandwich. He said I’m not allowed to take a picture of him. I told him it’s legal in Texas to take people’s pictures in public places and that I wouldn’t have to take his picture if he just provided me his name. The other two employees were wearing name tags but him. I ended up thanking the other two employees who were kind and served us tonight before leaving.

This is a shame because I used to come here with my family pretty regularly. Believe all the reviews on here. The service here is really crappy and they religiously get the orders wrong. They have about an 80% error rate every time I’ve been here.

They started fixing my order when I arrived so I had to wait a bit, but not too long. Everything was fresh and hot. Fast food can be a gamble but today, it was a good experience.

Well I’m not really the type to complain, but for starters my experience there was very frustrating and somewhat degrading I wasn’t the person that placed the order. It was actually my cousin. We are here from the Dallas area just working and he was the one to place the order in the store, but he forgot to ask for a couple Card board containers to be able to eat because when he asked for hot sauce, Cajun sparkle, and ketchup they didn’t have the sparkle or the hot sauce and only gave him four ketchups for a 8-piece and 2 large fries. So he asked me to go back in with the receipt and just ask for a couple and this is where the frustration came I at because the young man took about 5 mins examining the receipt and still didn’t display any good customer service skills. He acted as if he didn’t understand English and continued to have me wait for what I know he understood me asking for his containers and his excuses was that he thought I asked him to drop chicken. Then I ended up having to call two other people just to be able to get what I asked for just a couple containers. I don’t even want to explain how I felt.

Ordered 10 pieces of mix combo chicken, regular flavor to go. When I got home and opened the box there were 8 pieces were dark meet and of 8 pieces 4 were ties. That is just wrong.
