This was one of the most frustrating and unprofessional restaurant experiences I’ve had in a long time.
We were initially shorted an entire box of chicken. After pointing it out, it was given to us. Once we got home, we discovered we were missing six side dishes from our order.
I called the restaurant and asked for the manager on duty. I spoke with a female manager, who did not apologize but told me the missing sides would be ready if we drove back to pick them up. So we did.
When we returned, instead of the same manager, a male manager was sent out to speak with us. His approach was immediately hostile and dismissive. When we asked for an apology for the repeated mistakes and inconvenience, he refused. He then aggressively threw food into containers, shoved them into bags, and told us to leave as if we were the problem.
It was especially concerning that after speaking with a female manager on the phone, a male manager was sent out to handle the situation in person, only to escalate it further. The decision to send out a different manager, combined with the tone and behavior we were met with, felt unnecessary and uncomfortable, especially given that the restaurant was correcting its own errors.
At no point did anyone take accountability. No apology. No concern for the wasted time, gas, or frustration caused by multiple mistakes. Mistakes happen… how a business handles them is what matters, and this was handled poorly from start to finish.
If management cannot model basic professionalism and courtesy, I can’t recommend this location. Customer service matters, and this experience was unacceptable.
UPDATE..Still no call from area manager. Been a little over a week.
