I was hoping we would get a different experience from everyone else but sadly, I did not. Our orders were wrong. The speaker in the drive thru didn’t work. The drive thru register didn’t work. We didn’t get a receipt. On top of the long wait, we didn’t get sauces. I feel for the workers, some of this is not their fault. We had to repeat our order 5 times (still got it wrong) and they had to write it on paper. I hope the franchisee takes the reviews to heart and make changes before it’s too late.

On Veterans Day, we honor and thank all those who have served our country. Many restaurants show their appreciation with special discounts or free meals such as Texas Roadhouse, but Popeyes did not offer any recognition or discount. This is disappointing, especially since veterans have sacrificed so much for everyone. After this experience, I will not be returning to Popeyes, as it’s important to support businesses that truly value and appreciate military . Employee did apologize for the company management.

Horrible location! Long story…Waited 40 mins in drive thru. Only because I was blocked in by cars, front & back. After 10 mins of waiting at the speaker the guy says, sorry for the wait, we are going thru a shift change. I understood. 10-15 mins later of me being super patient, I said hello?! Guy says yes can I get your order? I said no thank you, can you have the 2 cars in front of me go around to the front to receive their orders so that I can drive out of this line? He replies, yes mam. Of course he didnt. He proceeds to walk out to take 1st car their order. I wait….and wait…..proceeds to slowly take payment from car in front of me. I wait. By the time I get to the window, I waited 40 mins in that line for nothing. I get to window and ask for manager. Julius Williams is the manager. He apologized & says they were tending to a cpl of employees fighting. I said regardless, it is unacceptable to treat people this way. Turns out it was an argument not a fight. I asked for district manager phone #. Called Miguel(forgot his last name) possibly Alvarez. Told him the story, got apology and offer for a free meal. Im sorry but my son was freaking out during the entire experience and my other son didnt get his lunch while at a full day at work. A combo wont fix this. I was so frazzled!! I needed an hour to calm down. They need to make this right!! Do better Popeyes(Stone Oak).

Worst location I’ve been too. I ordered through the drive thru. One of my meals was not complete. It was supposed to be a 3 piece tenders and fries. There were half an order of fries and the smallest tenders I’ve ever seen. I went inside and the employee in there was rude. I asked her for her name, she just walked away. “GM” was there dressed in pajamas, wouldn’t give me the rude employees name. GM allowed employee to be rude and they chuckled about it. Wouldn’t give a refund. I asked for ketchup, they said they didn’t have any. When I entered the store to correct my order, there was ketchup and the GM said, she just told them they had some. Ridiculous.

The only good thing at this location was the cook. He was very professional and helped us out.

I’m not sure who trains these people but someone needs an anatomy lesson big difference between a chicken breast and chicken thigh, chicken leg, and chicken wing. Ordered an eight piece mixed get home 15 minutes away open up the box 4 thighs, four legs. The number on the receipt is different from the phone number online either way no one answers either number. Very disappointed my wife does not eat dark meat now I’ll be cooking something for dinner for her.

The owner claims changes and improvements are coming, but we’ve yet to see any evidence of that. Tonight was a complete mess—no mac and cheese, no biscuits, and the drive-through register was broken. We wasted 45 minutes waiting for absolutely nothing being comped, nothing for our time. Blackened tender took 20 minutes to make on top of that.

The 2.8-star rating makes perfect sense. Management is clearly failing at staffing and basic operations. Three people ahead of us gave up and left, and one even told us to go to another location that they know to be competent. I’m usually a repeat customer but I think I’m done. I will recommend to all my staff to stay clear that have been coming here. Avoid this place.

Returning may be an option, but I doubt it unless management made a huge stride to make this visit right.

I had stopped going to this location because our orders always had something missing and the customer service was always awful. Last night after soccer practice my son asked for Popeyes and I cringed because it was late and this is our closest location. I told him we would give it one more chance again. I’m glad we did! Jay was very helpful when I was ordering at the drive thru. It had been so long since we’ve been to Popeyes. His excellent customer service along with our order being correct was a pleasant surprise. We will definitely return!

To whom it may concern, I’m pretty good at observing.. I do take notice and hopefully it will help this location, one of ur staff member Elijah needs to step it up. His demeanor shows that he doesn’t want to be there, he take his sweet time as he is whistleblowing, I seen two people walked out because of this young lad .. It just seems he doesn’t care , no acknowledgment, no speed . Hopefully management will notice what I’m talking about and I hope he understands giving the fact that he looks young.
