Trash every item I ordered was garbage. How do you even mess up red beans and rice??? Lettuce was bad even the biscuits sucked. Drove the distance to a better store.

Me and my son went in 3/5/2026. We placed an order at 231pm. Ordered a 5piece tender meal and a 1pc Kids meal. At 309pm I got upset and approached the register to get a refund due to waiting 37mins for my food. There’s was a lady at the register dragging her feet, taking her sweet time to do anything and everything at the slowest pace possible. Meanwhile the drive thru lone was flying. Gustavo was there running like a chicken with his head cut off ensuring all the drive thru customers were taking care of all whole this lady was taking her longest to prepare dine in meals. It didn’t make any sense whatsoever why all these drive thru orders were flying out and all 6 customers in dine in had to wait over 30mins for their food to be served. Chicken, fries, red beans and rice and biscuits were all there and ready. Putting the meals together took forever. They really REALLY need to fire that woman and get them another worker like Gustavo. I understand everyone’s work ethic isn’t the same but damnn. Sad to say I wasted 40mins of my day in a fast food restaurant. Went to chikfila and had my food in hand in 4minutes. I appreciate Gustavo for apologizing and trying to make things right. Unfortunately the damage was already done and I was hangry. I could only imagine if I was on my lunch break. Please, PLEASE let that lady go and get employees who actually move with a purpose and care. No reason anyone should have to wait for more than 15mins for their fried chicken. Again, fire that freaking employee.

Lady at the register is extremely slow. Doesn’t move with any kind of urgency and was the reason that restaurant failed to get customers their food in a timely manner. Better off going through drive thru to avoid the 35min wait. Make fast food, fast food again. No reason we had to wait over 30mins for tenders and fried chicken when all is already made and waiting to be put together. We told every customer that came in that we’ve been waiting over 30mins and they all walked out. It was about 7 customers who walked in and walked out due to seeing us waiting and them waiting about 5-10 minutes at register without having their order taken.

They need to either pay them more, or hire faster people, theres no reason they should be moving this slow unless they are on strike.
They have to read the ticket each time they put something in the bag. Ive waited a full hour for my mobile order because the app won’t let me refund

Food took over 35mins to get. Ridiculous. The lady at the register is failing that restaurant. If she moved with purpose more customers would be happy. They really need to let her go because that isn’t the place for her. Need to get someone who knows that fast food requires you to move fast. Numerous customers were furious that we had to wait so long and numerous customers walked out due to not being served in a timely manner. Popeyes could make so much more money if they had the right personnel there. Avoid dine in when going here or it’ll be at at least a 30min wait time.

The person who served me my food did a great job on customer service. His name was Elham. I just wanted to say thank you for hiring people like him. Kind, courteous and doing it with a smile. The popeyes I went to was located at 12826 I-10, San Antonio, TX 78249. I’ll definitely be visiting again because of this person. Great job on the hiring.

Visited this location on Sunday afternoon around 2PM on 10/16.
Ordered a 3 piece tender combo classic with fries and a drink, 3 piece spicy tender combo with fries and a drink, and a classic chicken sandwich combo with fries and a drink. The order was repeated back to me and I paid $31.
Upon getting home, one of my tender meals was a 3 pc chicken meal instead. Unhappy that my order was completely incorrect, but I decided to let it go. My wife pulled out her chicken sandwich, was ice cold, smothered in an insane amount of mayo, and no pickles. This was the breaking point. I called the store multiple times with no answer. Finally got through after the 4TH call, I asked for a manager. The employee on the phone told me that he was the manager. I explained my experience with him as I did not receive a receipt either, and he offered to replace the meals. Living 15 minutes away from this location and being disgusted by the quality of food served and lack of care during service, I said “respectfully, I’d just like a refund on my two meals, the third was fine.” He said he can’t do that and can only offer a replacement. I’d have to call back after 4PM, to speak with Gustavo, who is the manager.
Is this the kind of service and quality your location strives to set? Poor service and poor food quality. 10/10 DO NOT RECOMMEND EATING HERE.

Went for dinner around 5:30 pm. We wanted to try the new fish sandwich. It was delicious to say the least. The fish was fresh and crispy. My husband made our fries large which was huge and we couldn’t even finish theM but they were also fresh. I got the coleslaw which was so good. I put some coleslaw on my sandwich which was sooo good. The tea was good too and all for about $28

I don’t like writing reviews but I just got home from ordering at the drive through and they messed up my order. I asked for the hot wings but they gave me the sweet and spicy. I had to correct the guy that I wanted the Mac and cheese and in the end they gave me fries! I haven’t been to Popeyes in years and this is not a good impression. It wasn’t busy at all so I don’t understand why they messed up my order

I think I’m about to delete the app and forget about Popeyes altogether… the service was bad. Restaurant was dirty and so was the bathroom. Chicken sandwich was beyond cold and the chicken patty was old and small. Lady who packed the order gave me a whopping 15 fries. Tired of having more bad orders than good.
