We were tired of cooking and haven’t had Popeyes chicken in a while. Drove over and picked up an 8 piece of spicy chicken. Unfortunately I didn’t check prior to leaving. Arriving home and cooking some sides, I opened the box and the chicken was overcooked almost burned. Took a bite and it was dried out. I was just going to eat it while everything was hot but then really got irritated and took it back. They replaced it but tried telling me it was dark because I ordered spicy. Why are you selling over cooked, dried out chicken to your customers.

We order our classic orders as always: 8 pc chicken with 2 sides and drink.
Once we tried the new chicken boneless, it was not the best we expected, Ari and manager made it right and then did extra for us as well.

They messed my order up three times!!! at the speaker I ordered blackened tenders with mash potatoes I got to the window they had me 3 regular tenders in the bag so I told the lady that’s not what I wanted I wanted blackened she shut the window in my face and went and got a guy I told him that I ordered blackened he said I will have to wait 15 mins mind yall im on my lunch break and I already been in the line for a while so I changed my order to a two piece spicy chicken and red beans he gave me a two piece mild with mash potatoes and I know for a fact he knew that I wanted red beans cause it’s on the recipe I’ll never go back to this location EVER !!

Went early AM today hoping to get freshly prepared chicken. Why would I expect that? Chicken was old because the dark brown color, like warm, and chewy. Why? Why would anyone sell something like this to anyone? Freshly fried chicken is hot and juicy. This was warm and dry. I retrospect, I should not have expected better. Considering who I saw at the drive through window, unkempt employees, I should have sped away. Everyone who comes to America wants to be an entrepreneur. Few know how or even care about great customer service and providing a quality product. Shame on me for expecting anything else. So I wasted my gas, my time, and my money with this decision to go to this Popeye’s.

I have ordered 3 Tuesday specials and 1 small coleslaw. The specials were ok, but I couldn’t believe what I saw in the small coleslaw cup. If they want to save on COGS, they should do something differently than reducing the portion. If they were short on some item, they should’ve inform the guest that they are short on it. Either way, this can tell the management sucks here.

I got a hankering for some Popeye’s for lunch and although the chicken was good, my mac & cheese side was old and unappetizing. The cheese was congealed and sitting in oil. How long had this been sitting there? Was it even from that day? I did not have enough time left on my lunch break to drive back over there, and I shouldn’t have to. This is not the quality I expect from Popeye’s.

The food was very dry & old. The beans were spoiled & had a very foul smell & taste. The biscuits were missing & the order was incorrect. Quality is not what it was supposed to be. According to the rule book & quality control each bean and/or side should have a time on the bottom of the container & it lacked a time & date on either of the containers.
