Worst food at this location. My daughter ordered us food from door dash. Let me tell you as soon as I opened the bag I knew which location immediately. My nuggets were old and was all breading. The red beans and rice smelt horrible and my husband 4 piece dark ( they gave him 2 pieces white) was old and burnt!! If I could give 0000000 stars I would. This place sucks

They seem to run of one thing or another quite often. They are in no way in a hurry to get you your food and are not the friendliest of people. But… I must say it had vastly improved the last time I was there! Gotta love the red beans and rice!

Literally sat in the drive thru 30 minutes only to get to the order menu and be told to use a card I would have to come inside because the card machine for the drive thru wasn’t working. Maybe you could put a sign out letting your customers know before they wait. OR better yet, maybe you could walk a few steps over to the other card machine that IS working.

Food was hot and fresh. So good. The service was excellent. The manager was so nice and made sure each customer he interacted with was having a good experience and that they enjoyed the food. The restaurant was clean and had a nice atmosphere and the music was good.

I ordered ahead and was even 3 mins late to pick it up but yet it wasn’t ready. I sat there for 30 mins waiting after the time of pickup. A courtesy something would have been nice to say something after I’d say 15 mins. I get sometimes it’s busy etc but I seen maybe 3 cars come thru while I waiting. Food was awesome like always.

This place in NOT good for business. The service was poor and the staff was rude!!! Staff became upset when I waited for my sandwich in the standby line for 25 minutes! I went into the establishment and arrived at the counter, and asked to get my refund. I was told that they were busy, and no one had made the sandwich, but said that they would make it immediately. I declined, informing them I had waited too long. The cashier was rude, and said, “You must not know about me!” I felt threatened and unappreciated! I received my refund and get out of there!

Worst run restaurant in history. I keep giving them chances, because I LOVE Popeyes chicken. But they keep dropping the ball. Today at the drive through, it was exact change only for cash come inside for card. Inside there are five orders ahead of me and nobody is getting their food. They just brought someone an unfrozen frozen drink. I’m canceling my order now and never coming back.

I ate the same thing at Popeyes and chicken express and decided that for value, chicken express is better costing 4.50 less than Popeyes. Overall, coustomer service at Popeyes was better with an extremely friendly person operating the register however, my final decision is that overall, Chicken express offers the best deal and considering the time I came, Chicken express was more efficient delivering the food I ordered.

I stood at the counter along with another customer, 3 male employees were standing around talking amongst themselves and after 5 minutes I said, excuse me are you open 2 of them turned around looked at me, didn’t speak turned around and continued to talk and laugh until I stated again are you open? The third one looks around at me and the other customer started laughing and all three turned away walked away saying nothing. I’ve never been treated with such disdain and disrespect for a customer who just wanted something to eat. Never again Popeyes in nacogdoches tx. On university Ave. You are a disgrace to brand. Horrible service and awful, disrespectful employees .
