Haven’t been to Popeyes in like 10 yrs. Moved to tx. Been here 6 yrs. Tried Popeyes in Longview. Worse mistake possible. #5 3 piece tender with 2 side, little over 14.93. 3 of the smallest lenders possible, McDonald’s nuggets might have more meat. Now I know y u only need 1 dip sauce. Cajun fry ok. Red beans tasted old & hard rice. Out of dr pepper. Price not worth the name or the batter ( which wasn’t much). Tender not crispy. More chewy and over cooked under light. Biscuit was ok. Not gonna try another Popeyes. Im good. Ill stick to chicken express or golden chicken, friendly people, smiling faces, bigger pieces of chicken & if real small. They put 1 more in ur plate. Plus u get an extra dipping sauce. Thank you for showing me the new way Popeyes is in tx. I’ll wait till I go back home (New Orleans ) b4 I eat Popeyes again. Nice & polite people working here. Minus the nice perso with hair cover their face and havevto tilt head way back to see. This is not a professional look. Really thought Popeyes was better then this. Last trip to Popeyes in tx. Just go to to the other chicken places.

I like the food and that is the ONLY reason I’ve been back. Everytime I have come here I usually wait 5 minutes for someone to even greet me at the drive through. Everytime they tell me they are “backed up” when there is no one in the lobby or the drive through. Everytime I pull up to the window the workers immediately tell me to go park in a parking spot. Today the worker said “you can’t park here” when I am in the drive thru, like is that not what it’s meant for? I always place a mobile order atleast 15 minutes before hand and everytime I go to pick it up I still end up waiting for about 30 minutes, again when there is no one in the drive through or the lobby. Today when I was waiting in the parking lot for my mobile order I looked in the window and saw all of the workers on their phones or just talking. Once I finally walked into the store they had my order packaged within a few minutes. One time when picking up a mobile order, the worker came out to the parking lot and shoved the bag through my window before it was all the way down and did not say even ONE word to me. Most terrible service I have ever received, all of the employees are always rude and it takes over 45 mins in total to get my food. By the way my order is ALWAYS missing food. If only the gravy wasn’t so good.

We were greeted and welcomed in as we entered. They were busy and seemed to be having some issues with a register but that wasn’t an issue in customer service. They just took our order and rand it up on the drive thru register. The lady waiting on us even saved us money by telling us if we would order the box special and a drink it would be the same food at a better price. The food was hot, fresh and really good. Overall the experience was great.

I’ve attempted to try this place a few times. Each time the wait at the drive thru is ridiculous. 1 customer at drive thru intercom waiting to be greeted looking very frustrated. I decide to call in an order the young lady on the phone says they do not take call in orders. I asked if the drive thru was working and she says yes. Still the guy at the intercom hasn’t been greeted. It’s obvious these employees do not care so decided not to risk it. My advice is to go a mile down the street to Chicken Express. They greeted us immediately with a smile and the place looked very clean.

I expected a lil more from a “chicken” restaurant. I ordered a 3 piece tender combo with drink, extra side and extra biscuit…cost $23 bucks!! The 3 tenders were no wider than a finger, paper thin and generously battered!! I expected juicy, thick chicken tenders! But that wasn’t the case. The mashed potato w/gravy was more gravy than mashed potato. The red beans & rice was mostly rice with dried up beans at the bottom. Only thing I enjoyed were the 2 biscuits. Worth $23?? No, no it wasn’t. Would I ever eat here again? No. I can eat steak for cheaper than this and really enjoy the WHOLE meal.

This seems to happen a lot at this location. Either the wait time is long and or your order is wrong. Today I ordered a spicy chicken sandwich and a spicy wrap. However, I got the buy 1 get 1 free deal for the spicy sandwich which is the reason why I chose Popeyes for lunch today. I get my food and there is 1 sandwich and 1 wrap. Where is my other sandwich?

Every time I order from this Popeyes location I end up having to wait at least 30 minutes for my food to be ready while there is NO one in the lobby. I even waited a good 15 minutes after I made an online order to head to the restaurant and they still hadn’t even started on my order. Then when I got here the guy was like “we don’t have any classic strips, do you want me to ask the kitchen to drop fresh ones?” Yeah maybe you should do that bud… probably should’ve done that 15 minutes ago. It feels like there’s no real management at this location and you can tell the workers don’t care at all about what they’re doing. It’s the same story with the other Popeyes location in Longview.

They were busy and short handed. The man I think his name was kelvin was RUDE. Ordered our food and waited while everyone in front of us were served. I was standing right in front of him for at least 10 minutes he would look at me and help someone else. This is the worst popeyes I have ever been to. I will NEVER VISIT THIS POPEYES AGAIN. We ordered at 12:07 finally got our food at 12:28 that’s crazy.

They make you feel like you’re begging for food. I ordered my soda without ice, and they served it with ice. It took them over 15 minutes to give me my food, and when I got home, I realized my order was incomplete. This was at the restaurant on Highway 80 and Second in Longview.

While I didn’t have to wait 1/2 hour, as I did with the Gilmer Rd. location, the food was stale and the person at the drive-through was rude. The rice and beans wasn’t even at the halfway mark and watery. The chicken tasted like a reheat of yesterday’s chicken breast. The biscuit was good.
