The staff hides in the back, forcing customers to use the computerized order machines that don’t respond well. I can understand the need given the customer base and I do appreciate not having to interact with reluctant staff but this goes too far. I did notice the staff frequently going in and out of the building but never once interacting with diners. The fries were not hot and the pieces were small.

This location needs all new staff!! Especially the manager lady with the manly face and super tight black jeans she wears all the time. My son went in today on his BIRTHDAY to get lunch. Each time we go here, we always get the 2 Can Dine special (3 legs, and two thighs). We have NEVER been told we couldn’t order that, neither one of us like chicken breast. She told him he couldn’t get it that way and he had to drive all the way to the next closest Popeye’s in Lewisville. She is ALWAYS rude. And whenever we come to this location, there’s hardly ever any chicken cooked so we have to WAIT for them to cook it. She is always standing around talking and not doing her job!! I’m gonna contact Corporate about this, because this isn’t the first time she has treated him like this. No other manager has ever told us we couldn’t have the pieces of chicken we prefer. And the cook that is usually there is LAZY. He never has chicken cooked, he’s always in the back eating and standing around. They need new staff here!!!

My second time coming to the store, and I was so impressed how quickly and easily they took care of a concern I had. I accidentally ordered from this location several weeks ago, and Corporate and Customer Service cannot cancel it. Neither could the app. The gentleman there looked at the receipt, trusted and gave me the order making it right. Will be a loyal customer to that location. Shout-out to Dahismer for being a 5 STAR employee.

Food wasn’t bad. Service not so great. Lady that took my order made me wait to do so. Keep in mind no other cars behind or in front of me. I finally was like okay? Got to the window and the cashier spoke zero English and kept telling me to pull forward. I’m like NO. No other cars around waiting… other than me. I said no. Popeyes ain’t what it used to be. I’ll go somewhere else.

This location gave me spoiled red beans a rice . This is not the first time either a they tried to cover it with a whole bunch of rice . I ordered regular chicken I got spicy. I don’t recommend you eat anything from this location unless you want to take a chance of being sick

My husband went to get an early lunch for us around 10am on Wednesday January 28 2026. There were workers hiding and chilling in the lobby area instead of taking customers orders. Just thought that corporate and the managers should see this. I told him to go inside and order but they had already given him a hard time so he took his money elsewhere. The kids there obviously don’t want to work there. Hire some that actually want a job.

Wasn’t going to waste my time writing this because you never know what somebody is going through, but I was very much looking foward to this meal after a long hard day and the worker was very rude and incompetent so I am going to waste my time writing this review. Whoever was working here (claimed she was the manager) on September 27th around 1:30am deserves to be fired. Made a mobile order, PAID, got there before closing and she lied and claimed somebody else picked it up. At first she didn’t even come up to the window, she was just standing there across the room oddly shaking her head and then came and unlocked the window. Instead of admitting she did not want to make more food or she was short-staffed, or even straight up saying they were already closed which I would not have minded, she LIED and said somebody else came and picked it up so she wouldn’t have to deal with it. This person obviously has a miserable life so I understand not caring about anything especially at a minimum wage job, but people who lie for absolutely no reason to customers do not deserve to be employed anywhere, even at 3 star popeyes. I’ve been to other popeyes with good service where they are happy and greatful to even have a job. I have written 2 other reviews in my life, and they were both good.
When I tried to get her to help me and ask how it was even possible somebody else picked it up, because you have to show them the receipt on the app, she literally just kept death staring at me until I said something else. At two points I actually had to say “Hello???”. This was extremely weird and literally one of the most unsettling interactions I have ever had. This woman literally just kept staring into my soul like she wasn’t even human. I don’t know if she was drunk or high on something, if she hates her life and just wanted to go home, or if it being almost 2 in the morning made it weirder, but this was just a very odd, as well as rude interaction. And I will literally never go back here just so I don’t have to interact with her ever again.
I work a minimum wage job as well, and understand the minutes right before closing are Hell and start closing early sometimes too, but it costs absolutely nothing to be a decent human being. It costs nothing not to lie just because it inconveniences you. I am extremely annoyed sometimes at people who come right before closing, but i would NEVER let them know that and NEVER be rude to them. Why not just go home at that point??? Why was the restaurant still even open and why was she just staring at cars go by all the way across the room? If she just would have told me they were already closed, I would have just been mad at myself for not getting there on time and waiting till the last minute. But she lied and came up with some fake story like a weirdo. This person gave me a bad and odd feeling, so here I am writing a paragraphs-long popeyes review on a Saturday night.
I hope these are not AI responses and this actually gets brought up to someone. I hope this location finds staff that doesn’t actually hate working late night shifts because this is not the first time this location has closed early. I wish the best for that person and I hope they find some happiness.

30min wait for a drive thru order, I would say that’s insane. Employee wanted to ignore the issue with “yeah but the chicken is fresh and just came out”. The issue is more that they did not acknowledge the 30min wait and the chicken was still not fully cooked.

Order online and they didn’t have my order ready when i get there. Can’t even find my order untill later. Had me go inside wait a while and their sauce on the counter is overdue for cleaning, all sticky and busted. Their boneless chicken is the same as smaller tender but with some fat dark meat, not actually chicken wings with bone taken out like you were thinking.
