This place has potential. But needs better manning. Been here many time. Always arguing amongst each other. Always new recruits.
WAIT TIME: it kills me to have ordered numerous times online hours before i pick up. Cause i know it doesnt get done in 30-45mins because again, staf bickering and not knowing how to communicate with each other. If you wanna get your foot at 12pm.
Order it online or through the phone as soon as they open.
SHORTAGE: i have noticed there is always shortage. Maybe thats why wait time is an eternity. Know your high output times and days. Many times yall rushing to cook more cause more customers are ordering after work at 5-7pm. When you rush people make mistakes like uncooked chicken. No one likes a lawsuit.
You know youre the only popeye in town besides the one at sill. Maybe need a more experience staff not a bunch of highschoolers who barely know how to cook at egg.
There is one staff that stands out. Middle aged man. But does everything himself when the young ones just stares at him. Hes fast and hes attention to detail is on point. One man army is how i see him. Him and also the middle aged man at the back who does all the cooking. Bot of these gentlemen are i believe what keeps this establishment alive. Im willing to bet. If they leave at this moment. The place will crumble.

It is a miracle or a curse that this place is still open. We have tried to order 3 separates times throughout this year and every experience was awful. Don’t even bother ordering from this place because every order I receive, my food is cold because it took them over an HOUR to get it done, or things are missing from my order, or my chicken tenders are so overdone that the chicken is dryer than the Sahara. I’ve read all of these reviews and not one is lying. This place needs dire help. I have no idea how they’re even making money. Please please please! Anyone from corporate that’s reading this, PLEASE! Fix this restaurant. I’ve had Popeyes before and it’s not the food that’s the problem. it’s the lack of care for stores like these. My family loves Popeyes and it sucks that this is the only store in this town. PLEASE FIX THIS STORE!!!

We didn’t even get our food. The staff was incredibly slow and as another reviewer mentioned, none of the employees moved with a sense of purpose. After being told the chicken needed to be prepared, but would be ready in about ten to fifteen minutes, it was not. A few cars moved through the drive through during our wait, but after almost 35 minutes, we decided to give up.
We were given a full refund, but I would have preferred to have received the food within a reasonable time and to have experienced positive service from the staff and the management.
The staff definitely is a reflection of the management and there are a lot of opportunities for them to improve. Sadly, this establishment will probably close before any improvement can take place.

Food is still okay, but out of 7 or 9 people you only see about 4 working. Othersust be doing some admin stuff but even then there are people just hanging around and watching and could be actually helping. It’s like younger people just don’t want to work but they need the bodies.
Restaurant is clean though when I went. They didn’t seem to move with a purpose and people had been waiting for a while. It wasn’t busy like Raising Cane’s, there was only 5 people in the lobby and probably two in the drive through. It wasn’t just this one time, it has been every time I go there. Slim chickens is good and can be slow sometimes, but it’s all hands on deck there.
I know the food has to cook before serving, but there’s no reason to see over half the staff just sitting around or playing on their phone while others are working. If it’s over scheduled staff then fix it, if you have too much staff then let some go. You get bad results from your workers and customers when you don’t manage right.

Went in today to order inside, drive thru was outta order….. seven delivery people waiting on orders, four customers walked out after waiting for 30 minutes to be helped. Cashier did not greet customers or explain what was happening until I asked, if they were not taking new orders. Her reply was ” no, everything is on hold until we can fill delivery orders” I was washing fifteen minutes before I asked this question. Customer service was terrible! They are so slow and have to do better, not take drink breaks in front of customers…Ugh!

So tonight my fiancée went to this location. We thought to give them a try again as our last experience dine wasn’t the best, and I expressed the lack of training and focus on the customer as employees previously wanted to talk and giggle and play on their phone then do there job as to serve the customers that paid and dine in. This location you can see clearly the whole kitchen basically. It’s been months since returning and then tonight my fiancée wanted to give them the opportunity to clear the air from your last encounter. We are big into keeping locations the don’t have multiple franchise stacked in this town around. When she arrived there was only 1 car in the window and no cars in line. Just the following car awaiting there order. As she started to order they had a older gentleman taking orders and after reading it back more than three times, for just the first part of our order (which was a combo, nothing extravagant) they asked her to pull forward. She was already confused because she wasn’t asking for much just a wing combo. This task already seemed to be to much. She called to express her frustration. Once at the window she was approached by the older gentleman who then called over to younger guys who. Old have possibly been still in school . They all seemed to be lost on how to operate their machine and just kept asking her to repeat her self. (Just to place the order from the box/ menu took her over ten minutes before being asked to pull forward. Once at the window to complete her full order took another ten minutes or more. The gentleman looked so lost and lack of training was expressed through their body language and sense of being. After a total of over 45 minutes to drop wings and prepare our order they served us in all large containers for just out sides. So filled up half way only. Which showed me the morale of the story into why the employees seemed to be lost. The lack of management skills prepared to run a world wide/ well known establishment. After leaving and ranting and getting home, a 18 minute ride home as we live on the east side. We open the meal box’s to find our wings in sauced and items still missing. We called up their to express our concerns and where greeted with an employee that felt no sympathy for our time already spent and told us to return them and they’ll exchange them (our wings were dry and un-sauced). My fiancee was not going to eat the wings the way the came as that was not what we wanted or intend to get. She returned to the drive thru. Once at the box they told her their system was now “down” and they couldn’t place any other orders. Pushing others to leave. Its ridiculous for a owner to have to lose money because ether the general manager is there for a check or isn’t doing their job as expected, I’m a supervisor of factory and work with food and this would not be settling for my career if I was to be in hindsight, Like this location. She also work factory work and time is money. By time we got new sauces wings and returned home the rest of our order was now cold. Lawton needs to understand that we can never get what we enjoy when traveling to other towns and locations for food. When you can’t get “fast food” right we lost over an hour of our night and driving back and fourth. It should be apart of their expectations for who bagged it to verify each order. All I can say is most nights their line is to the street and I thought it might be because it’s the only location but now I can see that people here just don’t understand what it takes to manage a business. For the rest I would stand clear from here if you could because I couldn’t imagine if we decided to order door dash and harass one of their drivers for this locations mistakes. You’re one of the only select choices on the west side of this town which is considered to be fast food. Fast was an understatement and the food tasted like the grease hasn’t been changed in a while. Popeyes’s you need to really look at the this establishment. For the next customers I hope you enjoy and have a better time or experience.

I rate this store zero stars. Several instances that I’ve seen where customers show up at the drive thru and literally are talking to themselves. No employee to take orders and most drive off. Those that stay are waiting at a minimum for 30 minutes. Horrendous customer service, management, and performance. Go on post (Fort Sill) and visit that Popeyes location, where you will receive a far superior experience.

Picked up 2 of the Cajun turkey’s and was not impressed with the look or taste of them. I thought it was disgusting and just never ate any of it. I moved from California and always got deep fried turkey’s at KFC and they were good. You picked up freshly cooked, not re frozen. I will cook one myself before I ever get Popeyes again! I even tried to get chicken while I was there but they didn’t have any dark meat! Said I’d have to wait 20 to 30 minutes for them to cook more. Never again Popeyes!

Popeyes chicken is delicious. This location fails at service. I ordered using the app before I drove across town to pick up my order. When I arrived the drive thru was empty and there was 1 person waiting on food. I was told in the drive thru to pull around front as the order was not ready yet. After 10 minutes I go inside to check on the order. The person handling the counter treats me like I’m invisible. At this point the drive thru is wrapped around the building and there are 4 other people waiting for food. The prep stations are a mess, there are parts of orders everywhere, a manager is sitting at a desk chatting with the person preparing biscuits and sides. 5 minutes later they take the time to give me service. Apparently my order has been sitting behind the counter ready to go. Good thing I came inside.
This location lacks any dedication to customer service and their manager was failing to lead the team members. Several of them did not seem to know what was being done or how to assist with filling orders.

Was the 1st and will be the last time we eat at Popeyes. We ordered 2 combo meals. About 8 Cajun fries per each order. Fries were old. Biscuit was old and hard. No sauce as requested. 3 very small dried out pieces of chicken. Sandwich ok but not anything to brag about. Very disappointed. CAINS CHICKEN STILL #1. Would post pictures of our meals but won’t let me. Very, very disappointed.
