I have no bad experiences with this Popeyes. The chicken is always fresh and hot whenever I visit. Maybe it’s due to location since it sits right next to I-40 but I must say the chicken is good. The service isn’t bad either. I’ve always had someone friendly to wait on me.

WARNING … Do not go within an hour of closing. Just pulled up 45 minutes before they closed. Dinning room was locked and drive thru was around the building. We only spent 10 minutes in line … not to bad, right. We soon found out why. No biscuits, no chicken sandwiches, and no chicken tenders. Basically they wanted to close early and would only sell you drinks and what ever fried chicken they had left over for the day. It was pretty obvious the staff decided to stop cooking an hour before closing and start to clean so they could close at 9pm and try to leave at 9pm. MANAGEMENT – If this is the policy you set, SHAME on YOU. If the staff is making it up as they go then SHAM on YOU still. Who ever was running the store on 7/2/2023 at 8pm should be fired. AND you need to train your staff that operating hours are intended to be the hours you serve your customers not the hours you work. It should be expected that employees may have to work an hour or more after closing.

I haven’t been to the new building yet, but the older one across the road was so good all the time! Every time me and my family went through Forrest city, we would always stop here and get some yummy food. My fave is always the fried shrimp basket with Cajun fries

Customer service STINKS. Ordered an 8 piece chicken and was told they had no hot sauce or honey so I asked for ketchup I got 3 ketchups for 4 people eating an 8 piece. I asked for more and the girl at the window grabbed a hand full an threw it in my hand. Just rude. So I went in and asked for a refund because at that point I didn’t want to spend my money on there.

They always screw you through the drive thru. I got back on the expressway and didn’t notice my food was wrong until I was up the road. Plus the service was awful, maybe because it was a Sunday afternoon idk but I will never stop at this location again.
