I will not be going back to this Popeyes again. I went through the drive thru and had two other people in the car with me, we ordered 2 #1’s with cokes order of cheesy bites and the Freddy Fazbear box. Drove 20 minutes home to find out they gave us 2 #2’s which is ghost pepper sandwiches my extra cheesy bites were not in the bag. What made it worse was when I took it back to get a refund the manager Natasha wanted to argue with me and said everyone heard me say #2’s. I know what I said she just wasn’t listening. Then for the refund; since it was a card she said she had to put it back on my card, but would take 5 to 10 business days. Why it just came out of my account and you already have my money. She said that’s store policy. I’m glad that wasn’t all I had in my account or I wouldn’t been able to go down the street to the next Popeyes. I did end up at the Popeyes in Jacksonville with much better customer service, and got my order right.

Another Popeyes I went to ran out of honey. Now I can’t have their biscuits without honey, that’s sacreligious. So I went to this one and the staff was super duper nice! They hooked me up with plenty of honey, and they got me an abundance of chicken tenders, which go great with the honey. I will be coming back to this location fo sho!!!

This Popeyes location has been my preferred location for most of my life. Service is quick, professional, and polite. The food here has always been superb, better than other locations I’ve tried. However, this location has lost 1 star because I recently had a less than satisfactory experience. I hate to complain, but this needs to be told. The service was not a problem, at all, it was fine as usual. But the food was very lacking in quality. They were very busy and having troubles with communication and productivity. My husband ordered a 2 piece mixed fried chicken, which had an overabundance of fat throughout, which made it somewhat soggy. I ordered a 3 piece mild tender and the tenders were very small, dry, and bland. They tasted as if they had been under a heat lamp for quite a while. The food took a long time to get done, but this is understandable considering they were busy. I have never had this happen at this location, but my husband and I were disappointed. I will be back, of course. I hope that next time we will not have this happen. I would still recommend this location to anyone, but the owners and management need to know this happened. The employees do work hard and they were probably just busy and overwhelmed, so I doubt this will happen again.

This used to be a good Popeyes. I don’t know what happened but things have taken a turn. We were never greeted at the drive up. My husband had to ask if someone was there just to get our order taken. I ordered the nuggets combo with two biscuits instead of a side. I got a box with what appears to be two throwaway tenders mixed in with the last of a bad batch of nuggets. The chicken was so dry, I couldn’t eat it. I got one biscuit and it was dry and left a nasty aftertaste. I ordered unsweet tea and asked the girl for either Equal or Splenda and she was like a deer in headlights. She said they didn’t have any sweeteners. You’re a fast food restaurant, how do you not have any sweeteners? Not even sweet n low? My drink didn’t even have ice. My husband’s chicken sandwich was dry and his fries were so greasy that it was coating his fingers and he couldn’t eat them. I guess they would care more if they weren’t on their phones in front of the customer. Put the phone down and try a little thing called customer service. You’re gonna make someone sick.

I don’t understand why this location has such high ratings. Just save yourself time, money and disappointment by going somewhere else.
We ordered online, thinking that if the employee had the order in writing in front of them, then there’s no way they can screw it up. WRONG.
I pulled up and there was no cars in line so I thought it would go fast… You know since I entered my order online. It still took 15 minutes.
here’s what we ordered: 3 pc tenders with fries and strawberry fanta, shrimp box with mashed potatoes and unsweet tea, add small side of red beans and rice and large side of Mac and cheese. It’s $28.
Here’s what we got, all thrown in a bag, nothing sealed:
Box with just shrimp.
Box with tenders and a biscuit.
3 small Mac and cheese that’s really only the layer of cheddar from the top
2 mashed potatoes.
No fries
No red beans and rice
Sweet tea
Strawberry fanta only after I told the guy I was missing a drink.
Oh and I didn’t get a receipt other than the one in my email, so when you fill out the survey, be prepared to enter the info from the receipt you were never given.

They didn’t have any sweet tea or apple pies. But my order was correct and taste good. The drive-thru line was a 20 min wait. But, I’d rather wait and receive cooked food than have them rush and receive under-cooked food.

Feathers Again! Done with this Popeye’s! I hesitantly tried it again today because it’s what family members wanted. It’s worse every time you go. They’re usually terribly slow and all employees act like it’s their first day working there. The containers for the sides are now half the size that they were recently and they still only fill the new containers less than half the way, so you get about 1/4 of a portion. Today I had about four small spork fulls of Red Beans and Rice, which as it turns out was fine because they were awful. It was almost room temperature, the rice was undercooked (hard) and the soupy beans were bland. Today, at least one piece of the five piece chicken order was not spicy as ordered. This is a regular occurrence at this Popeye’s, they rarely get an order correct, they just don’t care. I’ve called in the past and told the person in charge that fried chicken would probably be better without the feathers, but guess what? (see pic). There actually must be people out there that like fried chicken feathers, because they keep serving them. Maybe they should have a new side offering of just chicken feathers or another chicken option (with or without feathers). Trying to think of at least one nice thing to say about this place, but it’s difficult. Oh, they did have butter for the hard biscuits today, which they’ve been out of recently, and I just fed the rest of today’s chicken order to my dogs, they liked it. Won’t be back!

I just waited for 10 minutes to get my order. I asked twice when I could order and the woman responded the first time that I needed to give them a minute. The second time she said that again and if not I could have a good night. There was no communication unless I said something. I was never rude, just asking if I could order and then asking how long it would be for me to order. I am tired and hungry. I just worked a 12 hour shift and now I’m going off even more tired and hungry. You could have at least explained there was a delay, given a time estimate. But of course as soon as I leave the line it starts moving. I’m sad that one of my favorite restaurants consistently has such bad service. This was the last time for me at this location.
