On my last 2 visits at the Bastrop Popeyes the food was fresh and good along with service. However, the line inside was longer than outside so it took a while. It’s a hit or miss kind of thing when going there as they are always busy from time they open to close. The service has gotten better so that’s a huge plus.

I deliver for Uber Eats and I pick up from this store as little as possible. They get the order wrong, give the order to the wrong person, or simply can’t find the order, nine times out of 10.
They are rude and unprofessional 10 times out of 10.
After yet another failure today, I refuse to take any deliveries from Popeyes on any app.
It’s not worth wasting the gas to go have my order cancel on me for their slow, rude, constantly incorrect service and I am ashamed to deliver food from this location.

Extremely slow. I like Popeyes. I eat here about every three months. But you will wait. Would eat more but the wait is crazy. As I right this review. There are 2 people that ordered in front of us. There are 5 cars in the drive thru. And we have a 45 minute wait. They have very poor leadership apparently. I guess the owners could care less. Because it never changes. Been this way for years now. Point of review. Be ready to wait. Bring a book are a project with you and you will be good.

Food is decent, sometimes undercooked. Service is usually extremely slow if you use the drive thru, if you eat inside it is quite fast. Atmosphere is great,colorful,good music,clean tables,and good staff.

I will never go back to Popeye in Bastrop,La again. They ran my debit card twice without my permission and charged me twice and i confronted the manager Yolanda and she acted like she didn’t care and that it wasn’t swiped twice like I was stupid so I got ahold of my bank and it was charged twice seconds apart so its in dispute. She is a thief and they will never see any of my money again. And that the nastiest business I’ve ever walked in so its need to be shut down.

Chicken is great. The service sucks and it takes forever!!! The drive-through, you better have at least 1/2 tank of ⛽️ and pray that you don’t overheat waiting on your chicken. If you have time to wait, then you should be good.
