We were given the choice to wait about 4 minutes or more on mild chicken; we accepted the wait. Got the order but the chicken was not hot it wasn’t even fresh. It tasted old. Would have given negative 5 star rating but the mashed potatoes and gravy was hot

It’s official there is not a Popeyes in Monroe that I can go to simply because of the service. I love the food it’s just such a terrible experience every time I go. The people are rude they argue with the customers over stuff like what condiments they ordered, not to mention now they want to charge extra for sauces. When I order BBQ and ketchup then get ranch, park go inside then they try to charge me for the right sauces this is where I draw the line. No more will I stand for rude service workers that are giving bad attitude problems and unable to do simple things that a child could do then I think they should rethink their actions. This is happening in more places in more ways. Customer service is what brings in business and when you act like you don’t want me to be there then guess what I will go elsewhere. To the employees I say this, if you don’t want to do your job the right way then go home because soon people like you will cause that location to close and destroy the lives of people that need theses jobs. So there are things called manners and empathy you need to learn them and stop acting like your entitled to be there. If you make a mistake apologize for your errors and correct them with kindness and respect. You must “wow” the customer and that’s what will bring them back and NEVER argue over something as small as what sauces they want because that will follow you and your coworkers after the site eventually closes.

I blame the managers. They sit and watch their employees play and talk when you have a lobby full of people and a full drive thru. District manager if I was was you I would surprise them one evening or night. They work so slow, play a lot wit themselves and customers, and ignore customers. The managers just sit there. I want be back to this popeyes. Yawl are loosing so much money because of this. Dashers don’t even like coming to your business. I’m sure you see this on the monthly doordash status on how many orders u received half price because of this stupidness. Check on your business be4 u go out of business.

I placed a mobile order at 12:20 PM CT consisting of 3 tenders, a 6-piece boneless wings (lemon pepper), and two drinks. Despite arriving promptly, I waited approximately 30 minutes before being acknowledged, while other customers who ordered in-store were served before me.

Due to the delay, I ultimately left without receiving my order. In addition, I observed several concerning practices: employees were not wearing gloves, the kitchen area appeared unsanitary, and staff members were eating near the stove where food was being prepared.

This was a very disappointing experience, and I feel it is important to bring it to your attention. I will also be contacting the local health inspector regarding the conditions I observed.

Just came through the drive thru. The girl taking my order apparently wasn’t listening. I asked for a Chicken Sandwich combo plain with coke n bbq sauce. She then asked me to repeat the order, which I did then she asked if I just wanted the sandwich. So I repeated order again then asked if I wanted fries so again I said yes I want the combo with a coke and bbq sauce. My fries were just dumped in the bottom of my bag and guess what No BBQ sauce in the bag. I would have paid the .50 for the sauce but never was told there was a charge they just didn’t give it to me. Customer service today was definitely a 0.

I love Popeyes but will never go back to this one again. I waited for a hour to get my food. One of the workers took chicken off a order that someone had returned. And put it back on the line to be reserved to someone else .

It never fails when I come to this location in Monroe, La, Popeyes on 165 North by ULM college that the wait is long, the person taking your order at the speaker is nonchalant sounding, you have to repeat your order over three times only to make it home and your order is still wrong, majority of the time food is old, cold and hard, the workers look unkept, uniforms filthy and management is not any different, I only come to this location for convenience but everytime end up severely displeased, regional management, WHAT ARE DOING????? Do you visit the areas you’re over any, because if you did I would hope YOU WOULDN’T go for what your customers at this location experience‼️

Good food. Sometimes the wait can be long here but they don’t stop working to get it out. Everyone is friendly and hardworking.

I visited Popeyes and placed a mobile order, but after waiting nearly 40 minutes my order was still not ready. During that time, I noticed multiple issues that raise serious health and safety concerns.

First, associates were not wearing gloves or hair nets and were handling food directly with their hands. I also observed kitchen staff eating while preparing customer orders. Meanwhile, customers ordering at the register were receiving their food before mobile orders, which is not fair or professional.

Additionally, as I parked in the rear of the store and walked toward the entrance, I saw grease leaking from the outside grease tank. This is a major health code violation and a serious safety concern.

Overall, the lack of sanitation, professionalism, and order management was unacceptable. I will be contacting the health inspector to report these conditions.
