This location is usually always on point, even late. This was just one instance, I plan to update this in the future. Got multiple 2pc white spicy, so one wing and one breast. Got fried on each sweet tea and biscuits. Biscuits were perfect, tea cannot complain about, fries weren’t very fresh nor cooked long enough, I think they threw some old ones back in the fryer for a sec. The chicken breasts on both were the smallest I have ever seen, one was only skin and side fats and dry meat (lamp bunt) and the other was fine just still dry and not juicy. The wings are always the size of a small sparrow, also funny to call the wings white meat, when they are unsatisfactory for the meat content. The wings had better juice than the breasts. I actually asked since it was late what they was trying to get rid of, she negativity responded in my favor, so I just ordered 2 combos. She did her job well, but I knew some of this food was trashcan ready, which Is why I asked. I could get cold food to reheat, this was already reheated by double fryer dropping or something. I never had any bad food from there till today. Which is why I will give another late night try. This could have been sold as salvage product. Wow Popeyes, yall be slipping these days.

I ordered on the app and ended up getting there 15 minutes before my scheduled pick up time that I had chosen. They prepared my order and me out within a few minutes of walking in. My order was 100% perfect including condiments and dipping sauces. The chicken strips were cooked perfectly and tasted great! I will definitely be back and appreciate the excellent service.

Updated review: 2.17.25 Nothing has changed…the second photo is today….and they forgot some of my food. I had to come back again for the rest of my order…. We need a Chick-fil-A or something in Plaquemine and maybe then they’ll care about their customers.
Old review:This Popeye’s used to be great. The customer service sucks. Their attitudes are so sad they make McDonald’s look friendly. I hate getting told to back up behind the red pole only so I could fix their time in the window. I’ve worked in fast food so I understand the reasoning, but that is cheating and wrong. Thankfully I can say my food at least was right. Just so sad that a great legacy may die out due to sad customer service.

So a few years ago I posted a picture of my food…well I tried them again since it’s been a while. Their food was freshly cook. I had to wait for a few minutes but it wasn’t that long. Im updating my stars for the quality of the food was 10 times better.

We at a power outage in our town Saturday night at 11 :00 o’clock and it didn’t come back on until Sunday at 11:00 o’clock Am. I assumed that Popeyes was open at 12:00 so I placed a mobile order. When I got there they was closed still and couldn’t tell me what time they would open. I asked how to get my money back and they said I had to go through the app. I reached out to customer service and I didn’t get any help or credit. I was told they was open but they wasn’t. I ask to talk to a supervisor but never heard back. Popeyes stole over 20 dollars from me. I go to Popeyes once a week but I will never go back because the corporation will call you a liar and steal from you.

It wasn’t the best by far, it was 10:50 pm so closing time may have had a lot to do with it. But the lil guy who took my order did they. I was not satisfied at all tho.
