The fact that we actually got a full serving of red beans without rice, was amazing. This is the only Popeye’s location that I’ve been to that “gets it”, when it comes to that. We don’t eat rice, but when you say “no rice”, you only get the normal serving of beans, less the rice, and therefore the bowl is half empty. Except that… you still pay full price, but now you only get 1/2 the amount of food. Hmmm. Rocket science, maybe?! ♀️
That’s a plus, but, unfortunately, there is another issue that I had with this location that I’d consider to be more important than good food: in the ladies room.
Please assign someone to check/clean your restrooms a lot more frequently. It matters to all of yours & your customer’s, young & old, personal health. It really, really does matter. That is all. Thank you.

This was hands down the worst experience I’ve ever had at Popeyes. 30 minutes waiting for spicy chicken, rude employees, and a manager yelling like it was a family reunion instead of a workplace. On top of that the food was nasty. If you value your time and money, you might want to think twice before coming to this location.

This is a chicken place, but half the time I go there, they don’t have any chicken up. It will be 15 minutes. And when they do have chicken, it’s only mild half the time, and I don’t know anyone who eats mild. That’s for the kids. When they do have chicken, I always order mashed potatoes and gravy, but they usually give me red beans instead. Even though they’re supposed to be open until 11pm for some reason at 8pm all the doors are locked and when you try the drive-thru guess what.it will be 15 minutes on chicken they don’t have any up.

Man I do not know why I keep giving this place chance after chance! So finally I’m giving it a review …. Here we go brace yourself cuz I’m going in! Most recently I ordered a five piece spicy tender with fries. Well at 6 pm they have no fries and I only received 4 tenders with one of the four tenders being the size of a finger and flat enough that it looks run over! And the lemonade this time was absolutely dog water. Months ago I ordered 12 piece wings and got 8 wings. Like can yall at least make sure your employees can count? I don’t have this many issues with the majority of Popeyes I go to. It seems to only be the kentwood LA location. Like get it together guys. This town barely has anything and y’all are ruining the few places we have to eat somewhere besides our own homes around here.

The managers have a nasty attitude other than that it was ok. They have you waiting while they tend to the drive thru. When they get the customers out of drive thru that’s when they will assist you. 10 to 15 minutes wait just to order.

The Popeyes in Kentwood louisiana is horrible. Customer service is absolutely nightmarish because they to busy gossiping they don’t even get your order right. Second don’t order the snack wrap because they load it up with more mayo than chicken. Where is the dang sauce? Absolutely HORRIBLE!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I stood at the counter and had to get manager to hopefully get someone to take my order. He said rudely “lady, we have orders ahead of yours and you will have to wait”. I walked out
We usually go at least 2 Fridays a month. I have to go inside to order, because the drive thru is a joke. Have bad speaker. Tried to go through drive thru several times, but order is never correct. That store needs to be closed if it does not improve greatly.
