I was in the hospital for 6 days was finally able to move up to soft foods. Let me say those mash potatoes was so good I had to have my husband go get me 2 more. He gobbled down his Big box and when he returned he had another I knew then the chicken was good even though we received the wrong order. And went the next day with to let them know but they looked as if they did not understand but they did. I told him let’s get my mash potatoes and go home I was finally released from the hospital and didn’t have the energy to keep explaining.

We waited 15 minutes while 3 young men stared at us and stared at the cash register. They didn’t speak hardly any English. Apparently the register was down. We asked for 12 piece and 2 PLAIN mash potatoes w gravy on the side. We asked for plates. He didn’t know what a “plate” was. We got home and there were still FEATHERS on 2 teeny tiny wings. Unacceptable service.

Popeye’s Louisiana Kitchen is on State Line and 1 block North of 103rd Street in the strip mall in Kansas City, MO. Popeye’s has been a fast food fried chicken place for years with changes in ownership, but still the same CRISPY TANTALIZING CHICKEN in pieces or on a Sandwich bun. Red Beans and Rice or just what is called “dirty rice” that isn’t dirty, but flavorful. Everyone has their favorite, whether it is mild or spicy. Seating inside, yet most people stop in and order to go. NO delivery. ADEQUATE outside PARKING. LIMITED DISABLED PARKING. NOT WHEELCHAIR ACCESSIBLE. 7-27-2023. Mgb.

I haven’t had Popeyes in years. It was great! I got the shrimp and red beans and rice, husband had a spicy 3 piece and fries. Everything was hot and fresh! Definitely will be back!

I used Door dash to get a 3 piece dinner, drink , biscuit and apple pie. The food was delicious. It came right on time! The chicken was hot, crispy and moist. The breast was large, and the other piece I ate. I still have the leg for later. The apple pie was also tasty! I’ll order again, soon! Yummy!

Awesome service and delicious food. Regular fried chicken and red beans and rice are my fave and Finger Licking Good. Restaurant was clean and fully stocked. I highly recommend this restaurant for anybody who loves fried chicken.

The service was ok. Staff were efficient, but not as friendly as they could be. They were very direct, but they weren’t mean. I don’t know, I just didn’t feel prioritized as a customer.
The fried chicken had the great flavor you’d expect from Popeyes, but something has happened to quality control. When your drumsticks are the same size as the drummets and wings you bought from the grocery store for Superbowl Sunday, you can’t help but feel ripped off. And it’s not just this location, but several locations now.
I don’t know if it’s a supply chain issue or staff turnover or what, but these tiny pieces of chicken should not be going out to customers. Or if they are, give extra pieces to make up for it and let us know. I used to go out of my way to go to Popeyes. But these past few experiences are starting to change my mind.

While I enjoyed the customer service,the food was cold and incorrect. I had to heat my food when I got home,also my order was missing a biscuit. As far as the food,it was very dry and it didn’t have the kind of Cajun flavor that I am accustomed too. I probably won’t return but I enjoyed the service at the restaurant.
