Ones (1’s) all across the board. Like holy crap. Quite possibly the worst chicken that I have ever tasted( because I can’t finish the rest of this). Food was cold. Items in bag dont match the order. Chicken is flipping cold. Don’t know if it’s undercooked so can’t let my wife that just gave birth eat any of it. I wish there was an option for no stars. Not gonna bother to call but like c’mon this is so unacceptable. Thanks for nothing. So happy to see prices go up in the fast food market due to “price increases” just to see that quality is overlooked by attendance. Will never buy from here again. Would really love the money back.

I rarely eat out and ALWAYS cook for myself but it’s way to expensive too get crap food… and finally see no long line at the drive thru while out and about running errands…so I decided let’s spoil myself today. It’s beyond disappointing that they weren’t even busy and gave me a stale chicken sandwich with a hard bun. Mashed potatoes and “gravy”…My soda has no ice which whatever I guess but they were out of Dr Pepper so gave me Cola…..on top of it all they didn’t give me the ranch that they charged me for. Only decent thing was my Cajun fry’s. I won’t EVER be back because apparently they’re miserable and miserable people don’t care what they give out. Disgusting.

All my visits within the last year have been horrible service every single time without fail. The employees always had a bad attitude regardless of the time of day or business of the restaurant. They SAY they’re out of stock regardless on things ranging from sauce to all flavours of tenders. At this point I think they just lie to try and force you into buying something they aren’t too lazy to make.
Today was the straw that broke the camel’s back. I went through the drive thru to order my usual 3 piece tender combo and was great full to they actually weren’t sold out of any parts of that order for the first time since I’ve moved to Rockford. So I place my order and thr man taking it is mumbing in an irritated way into the mic and when I politely ask him repeat himself he snaps at me and starts rushing me to finish my order. I finish my order and drive to the window and he snatches my money from my hand and tells me to park on the side. Which I don’t mind waiting a while. I think every Popeye’s location takes a while to make your order regardless of where you are… but the attitude was everything. Then the cherry on top: when my order finally comes out he’s not holding it with any car and just hands it to me and leaves. Doesn’t double check to see if I was the correct order or anything. Just hands it off and goes. So I look into the bag to make sure and there’s scolding hot Mac and cheese all over the place. I took it back inside to have them fix the order and the rudeness persisted with even the other employees working the front counter.
I simply can’t tolerate this behaviour anymore. Even though it is the closest Popeye’s to my new home, I am unwilling to return to this location. I strongly encourage others to seek out different locations to see if their service and food quality is any better because there is a very high chance you will leave the State St Popeye’s deeply unsatisfied.

This is the worst Popeyes I’ve ever been to in my life. I didn’t receive half of the food I paid for and food was extremely cold. I found bugs in my drink and food. I’ve tried calling the store multiple times and they refused to answer.

The staff is clearly slow. I ordered two sandwiches an order of mashed potatoes, fries and coleslaw. WHY THE HELL DID I GET TWO SANDWICHES AND TWO SIDES OF MASHED POTATOES???? READING THE TICKET IS NOT ROCKET SCIENCE!

Popeyes chicken tastes BAAAAADDD on my recent visit. The chicken at this E. State location has been the best for years. What I got a few days ago sure tasted BAD. It was hot, but sure had a funky taste to it. The Biscuits were good, chicken sure wasn’t.

The food and customer service was on point today! Mind you the place was super busy and there was only 2 or 3 employees in there working! Got my food in like 5 minutes and it was super fresh! Shoutout to those 3 employees, they deserve a raise for sure! 10 stars

This place needs to be shut down and thoroughly inspected by the food and agriculture department. Extremely disgusting conditions inside the store. Bones and leftovers on all tables and all over the floors.
But wait, thats not the worst part.
There was food all over the counters, in used bins and buckets thats WAS BEING SERVED TO THE CUSTOMERS. Picture attached for reference.
To make it worse extremely rude staff and don’t know the ABC of customer service.
I would highly urge corporate to instantly shut down this store before a hefty law suit comes flying your way.

Went there first time in couple years cause friend was buying for my birthday and got sticker shock and how high priced they are didnt want to buy nothing but friends said ok but still hesitant. Spent 34 bucks. When I went back to co u nter to get salt for chicken Didn’t have any,went went back to get butter for my buns didn’t have any when wanted more gravey would give it to me, I’ll never go to this place again as long as I live. Chicken wasn’t to bed but not as good as jewels 8 pieces for 4.99 when these people shared 22 bucks. He’ll noooo
