I didn’t feel like cooking dinner and my family and I had a taste for Popeyes Chicken. We don’t eat Popeyes often and when you get a crave for something you want your tastebuds to be satisfied. I came to this Popeyes location around 4:30 yesterday evening, everything was fresh and pipping hot. The customer service was excellent and the staff were friendly. The inside was clean and quiet. I clipped a coupon deal from the Popeyes app on my phone they honored in store. Overall great experience and I will return to this location even though there are 2 other Popeyes closer to my home.

I always got the chicken tenders. Never have they tasted this bad. No flavor seems like it was so bland. Called up and said they were the worst I ever ate. They said we will give you a new one. So my husband brought the receipt and got the spicy ones. I don’t if they changed the ingredients or what but. I don’t think I’ll get them again. I wonder if anyone else thinks this?

Stopped by to try out the pickle glaze. Place is small and quaint. The staff is friendly. One major problem is they either need a better ventilation system or have to clean the grease because the entire restaurant was filled with smoke the whole hour or so I was there. They are lucky people keep opening the doors and that the place isn’t sealed tight since this could easily turn into a carbon monoxide poisoning. The food itself was decent. The pickle glaze adds a bit of sweetness, but I wish it was tossed instead of what looks to be squirted on since there wasn’t enough sauce.

Popeye’s Chicken is one of my favorite fast-food restaurants because the chicken is always hot and seasoned with those Louisiana spices! I also enjoy their cajun-inspired side dishes…the Red Beans & Rice is always delicious!

I have never seen popeyes chicken look or be like this. It’s mostly breading, it’s hard, overcooked, dry, unseasoned chicken and I’m not even sure what’s up with the tender in the second pic, that’s just disgusting. Out of red beans, biscuits undercooked slightly. Fries were good and rhe staff was great.. but 5 dollara for a large sweet tea? Inflation of some of these items is ridiculous. Idk what happened to the chicken at this location but I will not be back.

The food & service have gone down the drain. This used to be my favorite location & I would bypass others in preference of this one. They never have anything, or the food is just bad. Had to return my food after my last visit, which is a waste of time to go out of my way. I opened the container & the fries were pale, soggy & barely warm. The patchy, barely crusted chicken was hidden under the fries & biscuit & looked like it had been sitting out for a while. Please get it together & do better, because it’s gotten just as bad as the location on 95th by California.
