Ordered through their app to deliver $44 worth of food. I was sick with the flu and couldn’t leave the house. BIG MISTAKE.
What was delivered was not my order and was enough for one person when I ordered for 6. And it wasn’t anything anyone in my house would eat. The order was for Jennifer N. I’m Jennifer H.
As soon as I saw the Dasher walking up with a drink and one bag, I knew it was the wrong order. I didn’t order a drink. I couldn’t stop the Dasher so I texted them. Nothing they could do. I had to contact Popeyes via the app. I did that and the first agent to respond told me they were escalating my complaint.
TWO DAYS later, I get an email asking me for a photo of the order I received. I didn’t have the food. I actually gave the food to the unhoused person at the gas station. I showed the Dasher photo with a drink and a single bag. That was not good enough. I sent the text messages with the Dasher. Not good enough. I sent the receipt that was in the bag. Not good enough. They are refusing to refund me at all. I’ve had so many issues with this store but my kids wanted Popeyes. I normally go to a different store but after this
I will never ever eat at Popeyes again.

Empty words. I had the same thing happen in September 2025. They have done nothing to make sure customers are getting the right order and it won’t change. They call us liars and steal our money. Garbage company that does not care about customers.

So I went here yesterday and the guy who took my order took it before too and he was the best! Like I always have a hard day at work and the moment I come in He just makes it better. Like yesterday I came in and order a 3 tender combo and he said that they are still waiting on some fresh fries and I was like yea np. It barely been 2 mins since I waited and let me tell you as I feel he gave a compensation he gave me a bag full of fries and instead of 3 tenders I got 4! It literally made my day cause I love popeyes and been coming here quite a bit. I felt bad I couldn’t tip him cause I didn’t have cash but the food was good too. I had the same guy before taking my regular order and that time I couldnt drink soda so I asked if he could take the drink out of the combo meal even thought its a discount offer in the app where you need to take a drink. He easily took it off and it felt nice where workers actually listen and doesnt just say “oh ya no we cant do that”. He really is a keeper and definition on how workers should be at fast food chains. I will definitely be coming here again. Best place for sure.

Popeyes sent me a deal in my email for buy 6 wings and get a second 6 wings for $1. I ordered and the wings were old and bruised. I called the popeyes literally 8 times from the number on my receipt which is a Rockford number but to no avail no one answered the phone.
I didn’t take the food back the same day I took it back the next day because of the distance. When I enter the store the staff at the front was stretching and yawning and didnt speak but did ask how can he help. I asked for a manager and when the manager came to address me he also did not say hello and his countenance was very drab nor did he ask how can he help me. So I told him about me calling the store multiple times with no answer at all and questioned was the number on the receipt the correct number and he said yes and that’s all. Then I showed him my food from the day before cuz I didn’t eat none of it and he looked at and asked for my receipt. Never addressed the issue of my complaint and said to me how much I paid for the food and thst He could give me something comparable or replaced the wings never offered a refund or an apology for any of my disdain of the food or service at this popeyes. I was hungry so I chose to eat tenders instead of the Buffalo wings. His staff at the front desk made the order and the manager handed me my food with a unempathetic thank you still with no apology. I left without getting either of their names because I was so ready to leave that place and never go back. This is one of the poorest customer service I’ve ever recieved. Hated it!

I never write reviews on anything, but today I ordered a 3p tender combo and after eating all of my barely fried chicken, I saw a bug crawling out of my fries. I sadly didn’t get a picture of the bug because I rushed out of there. I will never be returning ❤️

Crazy to think that when somebody comes through your drive through and pays good hard earned money for food yet they get food that’s been sitting. Don’t come to this Popeyes unless their busy if you come when their slow you get food thats been sitting… un-acceptable. On top of that I waited for my food and it still wasn’t fresh. Last time coming to this joke of a restaurant.

I’ve been visiting this Popeyes in Lockport, Illinois a couple of times a week while working on a building downtown. I have to say, it’s the best Popeyes I’ve ever been to! The chicken is always perfect, and I’m genuinely going to miss it when I leave town.

The food was cold. Clearly management doesn’t have any idea what they are doing. The mac and cheese had 1 bite in the container. Asked for sauces for the strips and didn’t get either. Not at all worth the money. Will not be back.

This place needs some serious help. The bathroom looks like it hasn’t been cleaned in months.
The trash hasn’t been taken out.
The kitchen didn’t look too bad but the food was very subpar for Popeyes.

This is in newer Popeyes and I’m surprised to see it go downhill so quickly. I know it is difficult to get people in the door to work but then you have to adapt and maybe hire a contracted cleaning crew for the bathrooms especially.

There’s no way in the world I would change your baby at the changing station.
