Literally trash. Paid $50. They didn’t get the order correct, didn’t give me the correct sauces that were on the order, didn’t give me the box of biscuits (4/5 what ever comes in the box) and to top it off we asked for all spicy & the gave me all mild , old dried chicken, and no drums -.- Do Better! When u call, no one answers & the app is a joke. It only lets u put one service ticket per order

Customer service was great. They had my food ready with a smile . It was about 12:15PM and the line was short.
I will say that the mac and cheese can be stored at a much lower temp. It was too hot to eat without burning my tongue for a good 20 minutes after taking lid off and stirring the steam out. I’d say cut the temp by at least 25°f or more. I’d give 5 stars if not for the hotter than necessary mac and cheese.

Let me say this I only write reviews if real good or very bad. I went here and purchase two 10pc dinner. Added 6 wings and 2 dinner boxes. Had two dirty rice, Cole slaw and mashed potatoes as well and a apple pie. He said we had to wait six minutes for fresh apple pie cause they didn’t have any ready. Now when we got our food the fries was dark and old and they have more fries and changed the chicken to one of the big boxes so no I didn’t check again that’s definitely my fault. Also the food was in the serving pans and it was only 9:30pm and the manager said I’m really ready to gone home and I got three hours left. Get home and this how all the chicken and fries looked. No utensils or napkins at all. The manager was so busy trying to flirt talking about I gave two extra pies and came out from behind the counter to come outside and say hey we kept walking. The only reason I gave a four in cleaning because the young lady was mopping. I’m just trying to understand it. Why risk giving bad food when you had three hours left to work.

When this Popeyes first opened the chicken was hot, fresh, well seasoned and had a clean appearance.
The new staff have no life to them and I went back after the previous staff left and the new cashier was rude, didn’t smile and still has the same attitude from the last time I was there.
I went yesterday with a coworker and sampled the pickle brine chicken sandwich, and it’s not good hence the reason for my review at this time of night.
I am drinking tea as I write. I watched the cashier do a lot of unsanitary work: she didn’t clean the trays and left them on the counter with the bucket of water (which should not been out on the counter with the customers food).
Then went outside with the food gloves on and came back in (without changing her gloves) and began to prepare another customer meal.
And what really got me is all these extra charges for gravy and sauce cups and then a while ago one staff had a cup for tips! Changes should be displayed on the menu to avoid false advertising.
I get ANY job sometimes is hard but, if any person who does not make an effort to be nice and show hospitality, you devalue the customers presence who don’t know why you are rude to them.
Try to be honest and respectful and don’t try to squeeze every dime from the customer with unnecessary charges and you’ll gain better customers and less bad reviews.
The one star is for the previous people who were employed there when it first opened.

Chicken is chicken, that much we know. So all that’s left to talk about is the quality of service (or severe lack of). Orders are always backed up and employees believe it’s okay to yell at customers because they’re “in a rush”. Can I just get my food/order without the self-important attitude? I spent $40 on a meal for my family and I, and this is what we got! Called no one never answered the same night and the next day, if I could’ve gave it a zero stars I would’ve! Chicken was majority legs, very old and dry when it should’ve been a two can dine. I also ordered a 4 piece, received a 3 piece for that combo sides were all wrong as well ordered another 3 wing combo that isn’t even worth posting! Never again!!!!

It has been years since going to a Popeyes, and it might be many more years before I return again. The chicken finger combination would have been much better if the fingers were even hot, not barely room temperature.
The worst part was walking into the men’s washroom. It was absolutely filthy and disgusting. The place was not busy at 3:00 PM during a Thursday afternoon, so there is no excuse. See actual pictures if you can stomach it. This is not acceptable in Gurnee Illinois. Give a thumbs up for this article and don’t go there.

Placed order online. Food was not ready at schedule pick up time 30 minutes later. Several missing items and the few things that were in the bag were the incorrect items. I was told they were sold out of the missing and incorrect items. Manager refused to substitute incorrect items and told me to just cancel my order on the app. I wasted 45 minutes for nothing.
