I just left the Popeyes on Durand Ave, Racine (DON’T WASTE YOUR TIME AT DURAND AVE!!!!) after I received crap service. I drove to this location in Kenosha, and was greeted upon entering. This location is sooooo much nicer than the other one, customer service was great and food was fresh! I will drive every time to this location, when I live in Racine! Just to get good food, good service, and a clean location!!!!

Went through the drive through and ordered a simple meal, 6 piece boneless wings meal with a side of fried pickles. Handed me my drink and was told to pull off to the side to wait. After 20 minutes of sitting there (it was not at all busy), I walked to the drive through window to see if I could get my food. Five workers chatting with each other. One went to find my order and as they handed it to me, one (the manager?) said “we didn’t have enough wings for your meal, so I gave you a cup of mashed potatoes” and closed the window. What? No reason for not completely filling the order I paid for, no option to make it right, no ask if I even wanted the tiny cup of mashed, no apologies for taking 20 minutes only for me to come to the window to get my meal. Terrible service. I felt ripped off!

We were in the area and decided to stop in for lunch.We wanted to go with the chicken sandwich (which used to be so good) the sandwiches were about half the size they used to be.The restaurant was not very clean which was slightly unpleasant as well.We had a very average experience bonus:employee’s are very nice.Food is o.k. I rarely eat at Popeyes since I don’t live in town, but I decided to stop by for lunch on my way to work. I ordered the #6 — the 6-piece boneless BBQ. Unfortunately, this is what I received (photo attached).
I’m not usually one to complain, but I’m sharing this in hopes it helps improve service. The girl at the window was fantastic — her customer service was excellent! However, whoever is preparing the food needs to step it up.

Avoid and just keep driving to the Kenosha Location!! We decided to stop here to quickly grab a bite to eat. However we were extremely disappointed by the service received. The Indian guy who’s in there taking orders seems to be the one wanting to do everything at once on his own causing a delay in orders. Not to mention he takes you’re order inside and yet skips the restaurant walk in orders as he is constantly trying to clear out the drive thru. They seem to be understaffed and need better management. He was rude to some costumers and often raised he’s voice at them when he couldn’t hear them tell him they’re order. To me this was rude as he raised his voice with a condescending tone to them. We had to eventually tell him to give us our order as we had already been waiting for a while and by this time he had already emptied the drive thru. It was clear that he took over 10 orders just in the time I was there waiting for my food!! He also forgot part of my order which I had to go back and ask for. It didn’t make sense that he was doing that! The restaurant itself is a hit or miss sometimes the tables are clean and other times they don’t even bother and there’s chicken crumbs all over the tables. Very disappointing and will NOT be returning NOR recommending to anyone!!!

I love this Popeyes it’s really good compared to the ones in Racine but today October 2nd 2025 2:45pm I had a drive thru order. I ordered a cinnamon apple pie and when I got to work come to find out there’s a bite taken out of it! I’m very disappointed because I waited for my dessert all day and now I have lost my appetite. Please do better

I ordered the three piece all white meat spicy meal mashed potatoes and Mac and cheese. 15 minute drive home and had to take care of some things when I got there but when I was able to finally eat…. I Mean the chicken was so juicy I was so taken back. Not over cooked or under cook it was the best Popeyes I’ve had ever. Definitely going back to this place for more.

This store deserves a rating of -20 stars. I tried to take advantage of last week’s Tmobile Tuesdays deal of free 6 piece wings with a $5 purchase. I had problems with the app and asked the manager for assistance. He very rudely refused to help and started yelling at me. I was shocked because this never happened with other store employees. Never. Ever. I had to contact the company’s corporate office for a refund. My advice: go anywhere but here if you’re hungry. To the manager, I say: I have 2 words for you, and they’re not Happy Birthday.

I came in to purchase a $6.00 meal deal and the manager took my order and walked away and began to feel an order at the drive thru. Understanding he must multi-task. He then began to complete the drive thru order as I stood there and waited for his return. After 8 minutes of standing there. I then said excuse me, can I please have my food do I can return to work? The manager said you have to wait! Very nasty and never came to bring my food even after he completed a drive thru order. He finally came back and said very rude , sometimes you have to wait! I then said sir Iv been here 12 minutes by now and you don’t have to be so rude. He then began to say I do what I want I’m the manager. This left me so taken back that as a customer I will never revisit the Somer location.

Absolute worst Popeyes we have ever purchased from! This store has had nothing but issues since the day they opened. Service has been an issue from the start, as has consistency, but we gave them a break since they were a new store. Well, they are not new any longer! And they’ve gotten worse, if that was even possible!
My husband went through the drive through, had to repeat the order 3 times for the order taker to get it correct, 2 Spicy Chicken Sandwiches, Reg Fries, Reg Mac & Cheese, not a difficult order, and the employee repeated it each time and the 3rd time FINALLY repeated it correctly. 5 minutes after receiving the order, he returned home; sandwiches were cold, fries were cold, mac & cheese was and waxy/greasy, disgusting, and you guessed it, COLD! After we heat everything up, he bites into his sandwich and discovered it wasn’t spicy after all! I called, spoke to Abdul, the “manager”, complained and he told be to come in for a refund, which we did.
How this store manages to have 3.3 stars, I have no idea, but if I could give ZERO stars for this review, I absolutely would! We will never make a purchase at this establishment again.
