20250710 Stopped here to get some fried chicken for my pup. If wings are considered white meat, I don’t understand why Popeyes would include is as 1 of the 3 pieces of a dark meat meal??? I would prefer they charge me an extra dollar and give me 2 legs and thigh instead. So annoying. Anyway, I hesitated coming here because of the negative reviews, but I decided to give it a chance. Luckily, except for the wing, no fault to this location, I am very pleased with the chicken pieces I got. The fried chicken was hot and freshly made. The employee at the drive thru was polite. Unfortunately, my pup didn’t eat the chicken. It could be that she’s too tired to eat.

This is probably the worst fast food experience I’ve ever had. The food was really good (bar one thing), but the service experience was awful. The person that initially helped us was really nice, but later on someone else came out with our food and started saying some really vile stuff to the other staff members about me in Spanish, because I guess I don’t look like I’d understand it.
I thought that would be the end of it but they packed a piece of chicken that I can only describe as a chunk of leather in our box under all the other pieces of chicken. It felt like they pulled it out from under the workspaces or that it was a week old as we couldn’t even tear it apart with our bare hands.

What is going on here? Food has drastically went down hill. I always went here for the chicken sandwich. The last couple times it was meh but I was so grossed out this last time to the point just hearing the word Popeyes makes me I ordered my chicken Sandwich, and started eating. The outer coating was greasy and mushy, no crunch at all. As I bit into it, it was really wet inside and slimy. I had to toss it and now there ain’t no way I’m eating Popeyes again. Thanks Holland MI Popeyes, you destroyed my love of your establishment and even writing this and thinking about it makes me .
It used to be so good at the Holland location. What has happened? Food quality has went down, quality of service has went down, cleanliness has went down. I’m done thanks again for turning me completely against Popeyes!

Ordered my food at 10:31. Was asked to pull forward which wasn’t a big deal, then proceeded to wait 12 minutes until I pulled back through the drive through. Once pulled forward they had my now coldish food waiting as it looked like it had been sitting. Note to anyone else, if they ask you to pull forward they just dont want to mess up their drive thru times. I wouldn’t advise to do so.

Employees are not paying attention to their customers. My boyfriend and I stopped by so I could try for the first time…needless to say, it left a sour taste in my mouth.
It wasn’t busy when we went so we opted for the drive thru. In the drive thru they asked my boyfriend if he wanted classic or spicy. He said classic and they gave him spicy. When I ordered, I asked for the 3 pieces combo. There are 2 3 piece combos. One is the tenders and the other is the regular chicken. They didn’t ask to clarify but asked if wanted spicy or classic (also available in both combos). When it came to sides, I asked for mashed potatoes without gravy and was told “we can not do that, do you still want that?” I said no..but they gave it anyway.
I then attempted to call them to speak to someone once we had arrived at our destination which wasn’t far to see if we could exchange only to find the phoneline was busy and then off the hook.
I would love to change my review and will give them a second chance in 2025. Please do better.

Pros: Service was quick and efficient.
Cons: restaurant was dirty with many tables needing cleaning. Price really high. The chicken wings came with a dry rub which only covered a tiny piece of the chicken and was very throat-irritating. Plus the floor needed cleaning-felt sticky.

Worst experience ever. First the person taking the order could barely speak English. Second the biscuits were so old and hard the Mac and cheese was old and nasty and the red beans and rice was watery and like hardly and rice and beans no butter for the biscuits. And sides were large but like only 1/2 full. Barley any gravy on the mashed potatoes. Cajun fries were cold and like they sat for a lil ing time. And not one wing in the chicken box just legs breasts and thighs. And at 50 damn dollars for it to be nasty wow. Good luck getting me to eat here again. Wow just wow.

I’ve been to this location several times since they opened and never has my order been correct. Today I waited in another long line, my order was not taken correctly and I received mild tenders not the spicy tenders I ordered. They did not provide silverware even though I ordered mashed potatoes and gravy as my side. My Dr. Pepper was colored soda water, no syrup.
I was disappointed to see that all 5 tenders were just over two inches long and very thin. Not typical of Popeyes. So not correct, and wimpy at best. And then…. My last tender had a BITE taken out of it!!! It was clearly bitten a long time prior too as the meat was visually dried. I’m just utterly disgusted.

Expensive. Dirty tables. Slick floor. When you sit on the bench you sink down so far the table is at your chin. Nice employees. Had wings with a sprinkled on dry flavoring that made me choke…avoid.
