I feel like this is an underrated fast food. My wife and stumbled across a Popeyes in Saginaw and stopped for lunch. It was a little bit slower getting the order in and had to wait a little longer than other FF establishments. Woah!! My first bite into the chicken sandwich was a shocker. It was so much better tasting! Portions seemed a little larger too. This is real chicken chunks you’re eating at this place!

These restaurants come and build a brand new building and serve good food. After a while they go down hill and wonder where their customers go. Tonight my wife and I paid $12.00 for 12 boneless wings what we got were 12 fried pieces of dough with a little fried up piece of meat in the middle that I guess was chicken at one point. I was very disappointed. We used to order from Popeyes 2 or 3 times a month but lately the food is not good. This is the first time we ordered from there in a month and it’s still bad.

On December 23rd, 2025 my family and I ordered a customized family meal through the online app for $27 with tax included.
After getting home and sitting down to enjoy our meal we found our order was not what we specified in the order we presented so we called the store immediately to explain our issue and was told to bring the receipt with us on our next visit and was assured our issue would be properly replaced as it was originally ordered.
After returning to the store, the manager who initially was on staff at the time of the mix up was there again and refused to fix the issue or give her name. Not only did she refuse to provide professional service but she spoke argumentatively and loudly in the lobby explaining I should have asked the name of the person I spoke with, which we did and was denied the information. She continued refusing to divulge her identity as she glared at me like I had no business trying to get my issue resolved.
Shame on you Popeyes!!!

Worst customer service and food service I have ever experienced. Front staff was rude and took nearly 30 minutes to even take our orders. Customer before us was waiting for his food for 50. At least three workers looked at the front counter and didn’t even acknowledge us. The fries were cold and stale, biscuits were dry and crispy, you could tell they were sitting in the warmer for way longer than they should’ve without being replaced. We didn’t even get the two extra biscuits they charged us for. Overall experience doesn’t even deserve one full star.

At 10:17 pm December 22nd, 2025, I went into the drive through to place an order and no one answered after I called for service 3 times. I pulled through the drive thru window to see a woman talking to I presume a coworker. I then went back through the drive thru to call for someone to answer again and no one responded. I go to see the window again and me and the worker made eye contact but gave no service. I will not be ordering from here again.

I ordered a ten piece, two sides, 5 biscuits and two peppers this afternoon. I noticed the breast was watery and it was watery because it was undercooked. My biscuit was gummy and understood. As expensive as food is they should be ashamed. Unacceptable!

While the food is good, the service sucks!! I just stood at the register for a 15 minutes and walked out. I can see people working and they can see me but not one person came to the register!! Plenty of people came in after me and still, no one.
