I just posted a negative review for the Popeyes on Middleville Road in Livonia. They have a 2.5 star. I was surprised at this Popeyes had a 2.8 star. Hopefully, when they read this, they would appreciate my candor in a opinion. I have been coming to this location for over 30 years. The restaurant has always been clean. The employees have always been friendly on the food has always been fresh. With one caveat did receive would appeared to be some old shrimp just once, but I never complained about it and that was years ago. I’m leaving this five star review because if you look at the picture on the left is what I receive yesterday from Popeyes on Middlebelt Road in Livonia. You can see as a total difference in the food appearance and quality and I waited 45 minutes at the Livonia store. When I walked in my order was ready and hot. They were out of unsweetened tea, which wasn’t a problem because they gave me a bottle of water. I know you can’t make everybody happy but they have always performed the duties to the best of their abilities. I would like to personally think the management and staff for years of great service.!

We went through the drive through order a family meal, chicken, tenders and fries for the side with four biscuits they had us pull over to the side because the food wasn’t ready. We get home and the chicken’s not even hot. I checked the fries before we leave. They were scalding hot, so I feel okay, we’re good. Everything should be hot. I tried to call the phone number. They have, it doesn’t even work. I definitely would like to speak to a manager. This chicken is ice cold, definitely not cool. We just spent $30 on something. We can’t even enjoy and can’t even call to complain, because there’s not a working number, it is complete an utter unnecessary stuff like this that makes people not ever want to go out and eat. Bad experiences, it’s not fair when you spend thirty dollars, the food should be fresh

I requested 10- piece family meal that was on your menu board. Jayvon was working the drive through hissing, smacking his lips and tasting his tongue working as if he did not want to be there. He refused to sell lme the 10 piece family deal. Teh same 10- piece family meal is on the app and on the website. I questioned him but her only offer the 8 piece meal. I had children to feed and prted not to feed the adults. I had the 8 piece CLASSIC, CLEARLY LISTED ON RECEIPT.. HE RETALIATED AND PUT ALL SPICY CHICKEN.. ALL SPICY. IT WAS DONE ON PURPOSE BECAUSE HE GAVE ME HARD TIME WHEN I ASKED FOR A RECEIPT. JAYVON displayed the worst customer service

I ordered online and they got my order wrong. I asked for no pickles and no cheese, but they still gave me both. My sister ordered same as me but with fries and extra cheese, which she got the exact opposite. She didn’t even get the fries she wanted, they gave her 2 servings of mashed potatoes and 1 serving of mac and cheese, and all of them tasted bad. But to be fair the burger was good enough. Worst experience ever.

This is easily the best popeyes location within a 20 mile radius. Other locations can take regularly about an hour, even ordering ahead. They’ll get orders wrong, or food will be cold, or bad portion size, and the attitude will be, mostly meh. But this location is amazing – the food was fantastic, and fast, and the staff were friendly. Theres a couple locations closer to my house than this one – I will happily go out of my way to visit this popeyes in particular.

Didn’t give me the tenders we ordered even after they rechecked my bag and told me we were all set. Also, sandwiches had 2 bottom buns on each and wouldn’t allow us to add pickles (it auto filled “no pickle” and wouldn’t let me customize, online order platform thru their own website). Chicken on sandwiches were NOT breasts. Mac n cheese was alright.

Ordered through the drive thru and speaker was half broken. Told two different people on the speaker that I could barely hear them. Asked if I could pull up and order from the window ( no cars in the line by the way), they said no. I ordered 12 wings and this is what I received. HORRIBLE.

BEWARE OF HEALTH HAZARD! Me and my elderly father were in this Popeyes drive thru and waited for quite a long time before being handed any food. Wondering what was taking so long, he looked around inside and saw a female employee inside vaping! Shocked at what he saw he took his phone out to record the time to make a complaint later and he caught her in the act of vaping again- blowing smoke all over the food! This is on video. We were highly upset by this person’s conduct and carelessness. No one has reached out to address our concerns after making multiple attempts. Totally unacceptable!

My wife bit into one of her chicken tenders and there was a screw in it!!! All of our food was cold. The fries were dried out. I asked for no pickles on my sandwiches and they both tasted like they removed the pickles after they had already made the sandwiches. The pop we were given was flat and had no ice. They also weren’t the correct drinks we ordered.
The lady taking our order was rude and aggressive.
To top it all off, we were overcharged for the food we ordered and not given a receipt.
There is no way to contact corporate. All you can do is go through their AI chat and if you don’t have a receipt they won’t help you.
Stay away from this place!!!

This is an updated review. My original review did not have many good things to say about this Popeye’s location. The management responded to my review with a lengthy sincere apology…not a preformatted canned apology… and a promise to try to do better. I do like Popeye’s chicken… so I went back up today to get lunch and things were certainly different. There was a young man at the counter and his take on customer service was outstanding. He was very pleasant, upbeat, and super courteous. He made an effort to make sure I was taken care of. I asked him how long he had been working at the job and he said about 5 months, it was his first job. He was great….and my lunch was great! I’ll be back again!!!
