Never had such a terrible experience at any location. Absolutely ridiculous.
First, my two year old daughter almost fell through the table on the booth because the table top wasn’t even bolted to the frame! Our food took a half-hour for dine in. They had no straws, Silverware, Ketchup, or Napkins for the guests, and the proceeded to get our order wrong several times, including being out of Mac and cheese. Only two employees had a hat or a hair net, and there was no manager in sight. One employee even managed to take 2 bathroom breaks in the 30 minutes we waited for our food, which is surprising given that the urinal in the men’s room was out of order, and they only had bar soap to wash your hands.
I should have realized when there was a sign by the counter for the district manager with a direct number if you weren’t satisfied. Promising to make it right before you leave. Promise broken, never heard a reply. Avoid this location at all costs.

My mother & I waited 15 minutes inside restaurant while employees ignored us to place an order. Chicken was hanging out on the counter, customers were coming in with their orders messed up, people were waiting in drive thru for more than 30 minutes. When we placed our 10 PCs chicken and two sides with biscuits we asked for all dark meat and was given 6 thighs and 4 breasts. The chicken was not fried how it should have been the breading was wet and falling off the chicken. We were told when we placed our order all they had was spicy like they was making us take that instead but I told them we wait for dark meat and asked how long it would take he said 20 minutes. We waited 40 minutes and once it was made I had to remind them to make our order. The employees at this time of night were very slow and lazy and acted like they didn’t want to do anything. They had no sweet tea, customers were coming in asking to order chicken sandwich they said they had none. We asked for honey and hot sauce they said they didn’t have none. No napkins given. This was on a Saturday at 9pm 7/27/2024. I hope this is addressed and I will be contacting corporate as well.

None of these reviews are a lie. This location is terrible all the way around. No sense placing an order because they will give you want they want you to have. Every single time I’ve come and tried to give them the benefit of doubt but always disappointed. They need to replace the entire staff and start from scratch. They give Popeyes as a whole a horrible name.

Popeyes on Wildwood and Ford Road is horrible!! I recently ordered the 5 for 9. The chicken was very over cooked. Like it was re ciated and cooked again. It certainly wasn’t and isn’t what it used to be. There was once a young female manager who was outstanding! Unfortunately she’s no longer there. I will NEVER go there again. Captain Jay’s. I’m on my way. Your 8 for 8 is outstanding. Please don’t mess it up. Employees tell your owners that are not of color, they need to bring it back to standard. The capital is not the only place we can protect. The employees however were excellent! I WILL NEVER RETURN. Give your employees a pay raise..they truly deserve one, very courteous under chaos.

Absolutely rude in the drive thru no hi or have a good day, no napkins just rude, food cold and wish there were negative stars reviews. So worried about their own phone. No recipients but went 11/29/25 around 6:40 pm so whoever the bigger black guy taking the orders wouldn’t want him to be the crew member my customers have to encounter. No idea why they took down my previous review but I’ll say it again.
This is the worse Popeyes in the area. No bullshit. Don’t go here go to Livonia or Ypsilanti.
They aren’t dirty, thank god, but I’d hope so as you’re working with food.
The only good I can say that is here is the 2nd shift crew but even still they are too inconsistent for me to want to even give a compliment. One day I’ll get everything i order and the next they don’t have half the shit I order yesterday.

I wished I would’ve read all the reviews before I pulled up to the window nobody answered so I drove around went inside and still it took 15 minutes for somebody to come and take my order for two chicken sandwiches. Only one other person in front of me, DoorDash and his order was wrong. Worst experience ever And I wondered why there was nobody there usually it’s pretty crowded for a Saturday night but now I know not to ever go to this place again.
