This is my go-to Popeyes location, it’s the fastest one I’ve ever been to! I love their chicken sandwiches – nobody even comes close (I’ve tried them all), and I’ve noticed that they’re better at some locations than others (especially this one). I keep coming back to this location, even though it’s more than 30 miles away, because the food and service is that much better than ANY Popeyes that I’ve ever visited! They never let me down. AWESOME JOB! Not to be missed!

I used to ride hard for the Classic Chicken Sandwich at Popeyes. It was legendary. It had presence. It had authority. It walked into the room before I did.
Now? It feels like I ordered a chicken sandwich and got a chicken tender that accidentally wandered onto a bun.
The bun is still fluffy. The pickles are still doing their thing. But the chicken? It’s giving “I tried.” I remember when the filet actually hung over the sides like it paid rent there. Now I have to check under the bun like I’m looking for hidden treasure.
Did inflation hit the chickens too? Are they on portion control? Blink twice if you need help.
Still tasty, still crispy, but I miss the days when the sandwich felt like a commitment instead of a snack. Bring back the big chicken energy.

Disappointing experience. Haven’t been here in years and decided to stop last night. Tried their fried pickles, chicken tender combo and a side of red beans and rice. Service was friendly and prompt but the good experience ended there. Got on the road and immediately tried the fried pickles…cold and soggy. They didn’t sit in the car forever as I tried them within 2 minutes tops of leaving the restaurant. Got home and the fries were also cold and soggy and they also forgot my red beans and rice. Chicken tenders were good although I ordered spicy tenders and am 99% positive I got regular as there was no spice whatsoever and I’m sensitive to spice. They were also out of biscuits which is one of the reasons I stopped as we wanted a biscuit and to try the fried pickles which we saw a sign for driving by (marketing works!). Overall very disappointed and unfortunately will likely be going back to the old standby KFC. Do better new Baltimore team!

Came here to order spicy chicken and was told they dropped too much mild and wanted me to take that because their kitchen was already shut down. Its 9:15 on a Friday night and they dont close until 11. Then I was told he may have had a few pieces but not the entire 5 piece.

So I came in last night about 9:30, there was nobody up front to help me until the young man who was working in the kitchen seen me and when he approached he had the most wonderful energy ever!! He took my order and had me out of there within 3 minutes, I asked for his name and if I’m spelling it right it was Cecil, great job young man!!! Definitely will be back.☺️

(Disclaimer this review is just for this day and particular)I don’t know who was cooking this chicken today on Thursday October 23 around 1:15 pm but babyyyyyy . The food was right!! Chicken was good it was done. I ordered the spicy chicken for the six dollar box when I tell you the biscuit was buttered to perfection . This person made this food made this box like how they would want to receive it. I’m impressed so whoever was cooking back there today at this time on this day hats off to you even if it was multiple people y’all did it right! And y’all deserve a raise or the person does whoever this is that was cooking on today. I pray the food will be like this all the time, but I know that’s not the case but I’m just saying got dog! Made me rethink my whole life ! The mashed potatoes was good right amount of gravy. I don’t know everything was just on point. The red beans and rice was delicious. I just needed me a couple of andouille sausages up in there haha.

While the food tasted overall fine. The pop machine was both low on syrups and had small drain flies around it. The machine looked unclean and made me unsure if it was safe to drink from. Also the restaurant and restrooms did not look like they have been cleaned in many days. Not just the toilet, but the stall and sink and walls were all clearly very unclean. I dont write reviews often but if a restaurant is that unkempt it makes me concerned the food equipment or the employees hands are also unkempt.

Ordered 12 piece Ghost pepper wings combo with Mac and cheese, wings were room temperature, Mac and cheese was hot but had a thick hard cheese layer on top that wouldn’t mix in. Had to ask for napkins, then plastic ware and clean off our own tables. The young lady at the counter who took our order was apologizing everytime I had to ask for something, but the manager seemed to be bothered by me asking for my ranch that I didn’t receive. Upon leaving the Manager asked how everything was on the way out the door. I expressed my complaint and he at first seemed stunned they I was negative and then apologized and wrote his name on my receipt to replace the whole order when returning. It was 9:30pm on a Saturday but still no excuse for not having fresh food. All the chicken was boxed on trays in the racks waiting to be sold. Maybe they will be better next time. I’ll mention that There were 3 employees working at that time including the manager. Yes we were hungry and ate the food anyway.
